My response to Marv's comments below? "I see better than I hear."

Also I hope his comment on Odell stops the nonsense about him being back to form next year. The guy's history and apparently has made no attempt to right his ship. I consider him history and another busted draft pick/mistake by Marvin. Odell is not mentally strong, mature or stable enough to be great in the NFL. It's over with him folks barring a miraculous turn of events. They took Brooks and gave up a 3rd round pick for a reason (happened even before Pollack's injury).

Lance McAlister did a good job of summarizing things on his blog:

Are you ready to admit the off field issues had an affect on this team?

Marvin's answer: No, not at all

Question:

Odell is due to come off the suspended....

Marvin's answer:

"Odell is not a member of this team so I'm not going to talk about him. He's not a part of this team."

Question:Could he be on this team in the future?

Marvin's answer: "I don't see it on the horizon"

On his defense:

We've still gotta develop an identity......and that is disappointing. I have to look hard at that"

Important to have an indoor facilty?

Marvin dodged it.....saying the organization continues to look at it...but it's above his head.

Selfishness?:

My tolerance level must be pretty, pretty low right now. It's not more than any other place.

Time management issues:

"I won't change. I'll ice their kicker any chance I get." We call a timeout for a reason....to get out of a bad play on offense or defense....we can go the length of the field with one timeout....and I had that in my pocket."
