bengal4life
All of the Bengals fans keep crying about the loss to the Colts last night. It is bad but who cares now.All we need to care about is the up coming game!If we don't beet the Broncos we will have to wait a whole other season to get this chance again. We have to worry about beeting them and go through all the other games don't just Stop and cry about it get on with your life. All we need to do is keep our hopes up.Don't give up on them just because they lost.Personally I don't think the fans feelings have anything to do with the outcome of games. You also refer to "we," are you on the team? We're the 12th man, so yes we are part of the team.
schweinhart
What happened to Miller? I don't remember seeing him play Mon evening. Every game he has started lately we have won. What's up, Chuck, why can't you keep the effective players in there and bench the ineffective.Yeah Caleb vanished for the non-triumphant return of B-Simmons. Miller was playing downright vicious. But O'Neal is the best shot they got at CB with Joseph. He was close on the plays he got beat on and had he not been doghoused he might have had more practice to make those plays against Harrison. The real beating by Manning came over the middle where nobody ever was and the Bengals never made the needed adjustment to take away. The best shot the Bengals got at disrupting Cutler may be to disguise coverage and force him to throw a lot of shorter routes by guarding against the deep ball. Just a straight 4-man rush may be the way to go and keep the 3 safeties this week. Cutler throws so hard short that the ball should ricochet out of the hands of the Donkey receivers a few times in this game.
cinci_bengals
Okay i guess i'll start.1.Our o-line needs to aprove.Their doing good but they could do better.2.Our defense should start sacking more. They did once on the Colts game but still the Colts sacked us about 6 times!3.Defense needs to start picking off alot more. They had no picks against the colts.4.Defense needs to have better coverage. They had no picks because they were never where the ball was.5.Chad Johnson needs to quit going to get IV'S.He shouldn't do that in the middle of the offensive drive!6.We need to run Rudi down their throats. If we can score a touch down like last week against the Colts we need to.7.Carson Palmer needs more time in the pocket. That tells you right there that the o-line needs to aprove. The only 2 things the o-line needs to worry about is giving Carson time and not letting them sacks get by so easily.Who agrees with me? HoosierCat
Lot of talk about the D, most of which I agree with. On offense, aside from the obvious "protect Palmer," the Bengals need to get Reggie Kelly, Kenny Watson and Rudi involved in the passing game. Broncos have not done well covering TE and RBs (21st and 29th, respectively, per footballoutsiders). Kelly has had a few good games, Watson has good hands, and Rudi has gotten better, tho no one is going to mistake him for a real receiver. Work the Broncos with the run and short passes to the TE and RB, and opportunities down the field should open up.

delhole
Whoever said every team in the NFL is diminished with injuries at this point in the season, which I've read several times on this board, I guess Denver is an exception? Check out their injury report:http://www.bengals.com/team/InjuryReport.asp.... 9 injured but they are ALL probable and they ALL practiced the entire week. Not one key guy is out........
