agreen_112
^^^^Not in the NFL, if so, then thats oldschoolers. Henry is so stoked to play in the NFL, he actually wears his own replica jersey.Like I said Pimp, he's in a slump. Have you ever played sports? Have you ever went into a slump? I have. You must be a superstar, If you think you can do it better, why do you try to walk on next year? Your stupid sometimes man. .

I have always been an advocate for keeping him on the team and for getting him the ball, but his effort (lack there-of) this season has been horrid. I love his touchdown production, but he is still not doing a very good job of supporting either of us by playing hard each week.
BengalPimp
I'm going to write in my notes what your saying and the next time Henry catches 2 in a game you better not say s**t.Sure thing.....next time he has 2 catches for 27.5 yards (his average over the LAST 7 GAMES) I wont say a word. Although, with hime having 0 catches (I cant stop saying that..lol) in 2 of the last 3 games, you may be holding your "notes" for a few weeks. SINCE HE HAS EXACTLY 2 CATCHES IN THE LAST 3 GAMES^^^^Not in the NFL, if so, then thats oldschoolers. I really don't know what's going on with him right now. That second deep ball he just looked scared, which I don't blame him. No sense in getting hurt now, we've got too many injuries as it is. I truly believe that he is in a slump and has a lot of pressure on him because of the fans. This kid is young and learning and his potential is endless. I'll support him no matter what as long as he's a Bengal (unless he stabs or shoots someone, won't happen). When we played High school football we wore our jerseys all the time. Every friday, and even had our own made with names. It's not that he's full of himself, it's that he's proud to be part of team and that he is a big part of that team. It feels good to wear your jersey. You must be a superstar, If you think you can do it better, why do you try to walk on next year? Your stupid sometimes man. .Yes I have....at the College Level, and your ignorance amazes me. Here's the difference, I played my a$$ off, whether in a slump or not, I never stopped trying, and I still gave effort whether it changed things or not.as for your "slumps" seeing how you defend Henry's play I can only assume that you too gave very little effort. Bro....its not a slump, when you are in a slump, you try anything and everything to try to get out of it, Henry is not doing anything, as he shows the same constant lack of effort. Its not a "slump" Is Psychological, the dude doesnt want to get Hammered again.
GapControl
Do you think that it has never happend before? If so then what type of player get's involved this type of thing?I think this has happened before and most likely is happening in pro sports today. but to say henry`s performance is lacking because he is paying off mafia debts is a little bit different than saying players shaving points happens. what about chris henry, other than him having misdeamenor and thug-related felony charges, makes your case that he is dropping passes in order to disturb the point spread? can you prove he was very sure-handed before this alleged point in which he began owing the mafia money?or can you prove he has owed money since before being drafted, so much in fact that he has to shave-points in order to get enough money to pay back? You call it what you want, but I call it a slump. Henry's fine, he'll be okay. What's your answer, get rid of him? If it's not to get rid of him than what do you want? You tell me pimp, what is it? Cut him or keep him? IF your answer is to keep him then all you need to do is shut up and quit bashing him. Your wrong about being in a slump, you can try and try and try but sometimes you just can't get your mojo back for awhile. Okay so you played, did you wear your own Jersey occasionally? Don't be a f**king hypocrite dude. Henry's stoked to be a part of this team.
BengalPimp
Lets get 1 thing straight-----I defended Henry during his off-the-field incidents, I over-looked bad decisions he made, and supported him.......and I did that---For 1 Reason----He made plays and helped the team------BUT I REFUSE......REFUSE......TO DEFEND HIM WHEN HE IS DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP THE TEAM, I AM OKAY WITH THE ARRESTS, THE POOR-JUDGMENTS IF HE CAN HELP THE TEAM.CHRIS HENRY OWESHE OWES THE FANS WHO DEFENDED HIM, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, HE OWES HIS TEAMMATES WHO DEFENDED HIM......AND HOW DOES HIS LITTLE B*TCH A$$ REPAY THEM AND US? BY NOT EVEN TRYING !...THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT
agreen_112
Alright well we'll end it with that then, I don't see him as NOT TRYING one bit. I think he TRIED to catch that pass that he dropped in the endzone, he just couldn't handle it. The pass was a bullet, but I won't go into that. He should've caught it, but didn't. I don't think that's not TRYING at all. You make it sound like he's not even showing up, like he's just out there on the field with his thumb up his ass. I don't think so dude, he's trying in my opinion.
walzav29
Because he's shaving points. Unamerican!
BengalPimp
If he's not going to even try, I'd rather see Glen Holt in there instead. He may not make a play, but at least he'll be trying....as for what to do with him? only put him in the game when you get in the Red-Zone........use him on corner fade routes in the end-zone.Those are the only ones he'll go after, because he knows he wont take a hit....I swear, if TAB PERRY was healthy, Henry would be on the bench for his play lately. walzav29
I still say he's on the take. Dave Chappell, hijacked threads, I'm a retard, blah, blah, blah. Something is rotten in Denmark. When you glass is half full, still believe in Santa dummies see a Bob Costas expose on this guy, you'll see.
