redsbengalsbucks
I think the turning point was the fumble on the first drive. Dropping Palmer back 7 steps and than rolling him out on a 3rd and short was idiotic. The running game could have imposed it's will on that game with a power run to complete a first down right there. The running game was not the problem last night, the passing game was not in sync and never got of the launching pad. The second most important series of the night was the 3 and out (all passes) after stopping the colts for the first time all night early in the second half with the score close. walzav29
It seems their offensive and defensive plans didn't match. If you are going to make them dink and dunk then you have to get the big plays. If you are going to do crazy blitzes and turn up the heat you play keep away. Very, very frustrating. It all comes down to Sunday.
BengalByTheBay
Well, this won't be popular -- but I gotta go with CP. Yes, he was getting pressured, but he still has to make at least some of those throws. There was hardly a clean throw all night. High and behind on every throw is not going to move the chains. Other than that there was plenty of blame to go around. We were due for a tough game and got it in spades. We were awful and they couldn't drop a ball to save their lives. I know this may sound stupid, but if we can qualify for the playoffs I hope we get Indy right away. There is no way everything that went wrong can go wrong again.
