Whur CHad At?
Oh lord, haha my bad I know that guy. I like the man he is a player, and he is a gamecock. He would be a good pick up, but your gonna get TJ on here saying he didnt run a fast enough 40 time to play for us. If we get him, we need to trade for Ko. Renuite the COCKS! Tasher
Interesting, that is exactly what I have been thinking that the Bengals will do, trade with someone to swap low first with high 2nd and 3rd round picks.Velley Intel-lesting! TJJackson
As near as I can tell, WCA thinks that speed has no place in the game of football. He's a thinker, that one.
Whur CHad At?
It does matter, but it isnt the only thing we should worry about in a player. Look at Tye Hill, he isn't anything great and the only reason he was drafted where he was was because of his 40 time. You need to judge a player on how they play the game. Yeah you can run a 40 yard dash at 4.3 or 4.2 in under armour. But can you run that fast in pads? Only a few, I mean a few players are that fast in pads. Carlos Rogers is another example, hes nothing special. Coaches just looked at his 40 time and not his game.
Kazkal
"looks at keiwan" ya speed helps but doesnt mean complete player...then again just depends on postion
schweinhart
Reports have Jake Long as staying for his senior year.I like the idea of trading down but not for Bennett unless it was into the 3rd round. Not sure he's either physical enough vs. run or tight enough in coverage to warrant a high 2nd round pick.Tyler would be decent in the 2nd if the Bengals think they can get his best effort all the time because his best effort is good enough for 1st round consideration.Eric Weddle would be an excellent pick in the 3rd IMO. Either him or Kevin Payne. But I hope the Bengals get an edge rusher out of this draft and it's so loaded with solid LBs that it would be hard for them to pass on Day 1. schweinhart
Looking over your 1st round picks, I'm on the same page with almost all of them. Jake Long is apparently staying so he's opened the door for somebody else, which is looking to me like Arron Sears late in the 1st.There's just 6 1st rounders you got that I've slid down -- 5 of them into the 2nd -- Posluszny, Alexander, Higgins, Okoye and Troy Smith. I suspect DEs like Abiamiri, Carriker, Atkins and Crowder will all slide into the 3-4 round range due to early entries by Jamaal Anderson, Tommy Blake, Jarvis Moss and Charles Johnson. I believe all of those (except for Blake dunno) have at least filed for draft evaluation and I'm guessing they'll all like what they're told.
