Personally I think if they stick with these rules, they may as well declare "two hand touch" or hang a couple of flags from the QB's hips. I'm well aware about Carsons injury and how it happened, but IMHO this ain't football. No wonder defensive players are apprehensive about what to do when they get to the QB. You just have no idea if you're going to be flagged or not! <_<

I can tell you I hate it, and I don't think it's so much the rules and the referees inability to interpet them. If they would just make these guys full time employees, start up schools, make them younger in better shape, then maybe, they could keep up with these beasts of men playing a fast paced hard hitting game.

I thought the Justin Smith roughing call in the Tampa game was the most ridicoulus call until I saw the Urlacher roughing call in the Bears game. Roughing for flexing while dropping the QB, unreal!
