buck3y3d
I'll call out Tory. I think he may be the worst starting corner in the league. Last season, he was rated the worst corner in the league based on coverage statistics. He is slow. He doesn't tackle. And the number of times he gets burned over the top is ridiculous. He played alright yesterday, although his zero tackles are a little worrisome because he was thrown at and completed against several times, but I'd give him a B+ for the game. I loved the defense yesterday, but there is no way I'd ever start Tory over JJ when Deltha returns.

I'm sure sometime before the year's up he'll get toasted like a marshmallow again and we'll all be killing him, but last night he made the play. BengalszoneBilly
You guys must be blind! Tory got blantantly shoved. Even the Ravens fans at the bar I was watching it at said the refs gave 'em that one with a "no call" on the push off. I feel the Bengals defense got their second shutout taken away by poor refereeing. That being said, GREAT job by the Cincy defense shutting down Jamal Lewis and the entire Ravens rushing attack. I believe that forced Steve McFair had to throw over 40 times, but don't quote me on that.

Offensive pass interference isn't called nearly enough, but the flag almost always falls when a WR fully extends his arm while pushing off. But not last night. The feel good buzz wasn't shattered, but the play cost the Bengals a 2nd shutout in a row and that would have been pretty darn special for Bengal fans. mgilgris
The whole point of this website is to read/ discuss the bengals. Without some criticism this message board and the whole bengalszone website would lose a lot of viewers. Suggesting criticisms is apart of blogging and will always be around. Plus Marvin's motto is "we can always do better" so having a thread with criticism is apart of the game. The bengals will never be perfect (even though i wish they would) thus criticism will always be a part of the game. DISCUSSION will always involve criticism/ critiques and is thus the whole reason why people continue to read bengalszone.

He fell ( was pushed down) but it was allready over at that point.good game by all .Agreed but again, the guy needs to man-up as Willie A. puts it and stand his ground (no pun intended). He's playing football not tidlywinks. He should expect some jockeying/shoving/pushing for position by the WR. That is certainly not new. The guy made a great play on 4th down but wasn't physical enough to stay on his feet to help protect the shut out.
Kazkal
Tory played a heck of a game. Why don't you ask where your guys beloved Madieu Williams was? Where is he anytime a ball is thrown over the top. Tory's got no help whatsoever...He a starting corner he shoulden't need help on every play,Madieu had his own assignments his own guys to cover.
