Joey Harrington the Piano Man

Not that the Detroit Lions are in bad enough shape or that they needed to give Harrington any more reasons to light them up but they decided to go out of their way to play the Billy Joel classic 'Piano Man' before kickoff and introduce Harrington as some kind of tasteless joke poking fun at him for playing the piano.

First of all, so freaking what if he plays the piano. I don't see what someone's having to play the piano has to do with anything what so ever? And now to make things worse the already twisted Lions organization is trying to throw the PA announcer under the bus (by himself) by trying to say they had no knowledge of what the announcer did or had planned. That may be so but at what level would the Lions take any responsibility, let's break it down to the simple for the Lions, who signs the PA announcer’s checks?

If I were a Lions player I would have been pissed off about this for giving the Dolphins bulletin board material just minutes before kickoff.

IN ALL ACTUALITY.............I PERSONALLY THINK THAT PLAYING THE PIANO WOULD HELP HIM AS A QB. PLAYING THE PIANO HELPS YOUR FINGER DEXTERITY, THUS IN TURN, IMPROVING YOUR GRASP AROUND THE FOOTBALL...........SOMETHING THAT "SMALL HANDS" KITNA KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT. I THINK THE JOKE IS REALLY ON THE LIONS.

LOL

I think they're tring to say that he...how shall I say this...prefers the company of other men...in a non-Platonic capacity?

Of course, it only made them look like idiots. What did he ever do to them, other than not develop as a QB there because they had no one capable of developing him?
