Kazkal
Seems like we still have quite a few needs o_O..............
Tasher
WR in the 2nd is a possibility but between Chatman and Tab Perry most likely healthy next year and Henry hopefully not suspended for more than half the year, I'd guess they'd wait until Day 2. There should be some interesting WRs available then like Mike Walker of Central Florida, Najeh Pruden of Kent State, David Ball of New Hampshire and a couple Reggie McNeal types in Syvelle Newton of South Carolina and Omarr Connor of Miss. State. Newton is a trip.We have plenty of wideouts returning from injury....no need to draft any, although as we all know Marvin has to draft 2 or three a year just because that's what he does. You all realize that we have TEN wide receivers, not counting tight ends, currently on the roster in one capacity or another, don't you? (Active, Practice Squad, Injured, etc.)Brazell, Bennie Chatman, AntonioGreen, Skyler Henry, ChrisHolt, Glenn Houshmandzadeh, T.J.Johnson, ChadMcNeal, Reggie Perry, TabWashington, KelleyOf these guys, only Washington is an Unrestricted Free Agent. TJ you are right, Marvin (or maybe it is actually Mike Brown) seems to be enamoured with drafting multiple wideouts to see who works out. But I think that this year we may see a departure from that philosophy (hopefully) and maybe we only have one drafted alltogether.Brazell and Perry should be healthy going into offseason work and those are two important guys to get back. Chatman to return punts, McNeal has seen his playing time increase of late, Holt has really contributed returning kicks, so I would be a little surprised if we had multiple WRs drafted THIS year.Obviously the HUGE question mark is how much time might Chris Henry be suspended next season based on his, ahem, body of "work." TJJackson
God, I hope so. I screamed bloody murder when the last 3 picks were all wideouts this year (Kilmer and R McNeal were both listed as receivers, didn't know the whole story at the time)I'm just tired of him drafting receivers every year when it is not a primary position of need....I've now come to expect it, no matter how many receivers are on the roster in some fashion
