Criminal? Andy Furman hit man?

Question for everyone:

How come that wasn't a pass interference with 15 yards tacked on in addition? He clearly killed him before the ball was remotely close to him, how is that not a PI? Dierdorf and Enberg didn't even mention it as a possibility. I thought it a clear pass interference. Was I seeing something no one else did?

It was Pass Interference, but for an additional 15 yards to be tacked on, it would have also had to be a PERSONAL FOUL FOR UNNECESSARY ROUGHNESS (UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT)

Hopfully they fine him big time

Screw the Fine, I wanted one of our defenders to F'n cheapshot Ladainian Tomlinson, and see how those little charger b.tches like it....

Why would you cheap shot LT when he wasn't the one who hit TJ...if they would have done anything it should have been a blindside block in the back after the play to totally knock McCree out of his shoes

Didn't they call the personal foul? Pretty sure they called the personal foul. What I didn't hear called was pass intereference...

Nope, they called defensive pass interference on McCree moved to the spot of the foul 18 yards from the 45 to the 27 yard line

Hopfully they fine him big time

No offense to LT but they take out one of our playmakers , we take out one of theirs...nothing personal

If they did NOT call the personal foul, how in the hell was it not? If what KK did drew a flag (against NE), how the f**k is that NOT a personal foul?

The officals suck bull dick. They really do.

I was saying the exact same thing at the time. They have this whole personal foul defensless receiver rule, it seems to only work against the Bengals, it should have been a personal foul on top of the PI.

That was a criminal act. If your playing pick up football and someone does that and its on video you call the police and have them arrested. He should have been cuffed on the field. I cant wait to here the nfl's excuse this time. This was worse then the haynesworth stomp. he could have killed TJ! or atleast knocked the s**t out of him, did anyone see that look that was frozen on tj's face, like he was passing a stone?

ITS BECAUSE OF THE NEW NFL RULES, CHANGED THIS PAST OFFSEASON....IT STATES...AND I QUOTE, .

"PERSONAL FOULS, UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT, ROUGHING THE PASSER, AND UNECESSARY ROUGHNESS, SHALL ONLY BE CALLED WHEN COMMITTED(but call it even if they dont) BY A BENGAL PLAYER.....NOT AGAINST THEM"

I AM REALLY STARTING TO HATE THAT RULE...

LT is a stand up guy and your a fing retard,=P I rather see Willie Anderson fall on the back of the guys leg who hit TJ.

TJ is a stand up guy as well, but that didnt prevent the Chagers from take 2 cheapshots at him on the same play.....nothing personal against LT, but if someone retaliates on one of their key players, they'll think twice about doing it again, not to mention we would have had a better chance of winning, SD sure had a better chance after that, had TJ been on the game Carson wouldnt have had to throw to Chris "Butterfingers" Henry, or Glenn Holt(who ran the wrong route).....by the way...its pretty hard for an offensive player to get a good shot on a safety........

McCree:

“As opposed to trying to go for the interception and have them complete it, I went for the hit. I was early and I feel badly for it. This game is dangerous enough as it is. You don’t need dirty shots and I’m not a dirty player. I’m going to be praying for him and I’m going to call him and make sure he’s OK. I didn’t try to take him out of the game. It was a bad hit. I SHOULDNT HAVE DONE IT.”

Done it? Done what? He does not say I was early and I missed judge it or use the word accident. He does not deny it was dirty. He implicitly admits he did it on purpose. Why is he not ejected, suspended arrested and fined? I truly believe either this game (football) is fixed or the refs have some colluded interest in seeing us lose. To much coincidence. Is this the last boy scout? Am I Bruce Willis? ...No!

Hey guys, Charger fan here, look, I understand that you are all a little frustrated by todays loss, I understand that. I get it. But don't you think you are overreacting a little? I mean to want the guy in prison? That is rediculous.

Look at the hit again:

http://www.digitalmailmaker.com/dropbox/thehit.html

He was 1 second late, it wasn't helmet to helmet, and he got the punishment he deserved, a penalty and a likely fine. It wasn't even McCree that took TJ out of the game, it was Godfrey coming in afterwards and his knee hit TJ's head.

If you want to look at his character, why don't you look at the post-game comments by both TJ and McCree. Didn't catch it? Here ya go:

TJ Houshmandzadeh's comments:

"He [McCree] be in LA though, I'm a holla at him when he got out in LA. He better have a good reason 'cause I'm a have a good reason to whoop his ass."

"Like I said before, the guy that hit me [McCree], he's in LA a lot. Me and my homeboys who be out in LA gonna have something to say to him."

Marlon McCree's comments:

“There was a blind spot and I couldn’t see the ball for a split second,” McCree said. “In my aggressiveness, I was there just a second too soon.”

“I’m going to call T.J. (Monday) and make sure he’s okay because the last thing I want to do is end a guy’s career on some cheap shot, I’ve never played this game to be dirty. I’m going to be praying for him and his family.”

So, TJ threatens to "whoop his ass", and Marlon apologizes.

Dude, just look at your clip and try(just for 1 second) to be impartial. Look at it...McCree hit him at least 2 seconds early, not "1 second late" as you say. McCree says he was in a "blind spot" and couldnt see the ball? what kind of excuse it that? he is a FREE SAFETY...his job is PRIMARILY to play the ball, then tackle, not the other way around. The only reason he apologized is because I'm sure he knew the NFL would review that and he was trying to SAVE HIS WALLET from an NFL fine with a fake apology, and saying "I'm going to call TJ(monday)...blah, blah,blah....as for you saying it wasnt helmet to helmet....he may have hit him with his shoulder first, but their helmets touched after, and the reason Godfrey even touched TJ is because McCree's EARLY hit stopped and even sent TJ back and Godfrey couldnt stop his own momentum. Watch your clip, you could see McCree at least 6 or 7 yards away, looking only at TJ, he NEVER EVER LOOKED IN THE DIRECTION OF THE QB TO SEE WHERE THE BALL WAS....THAT HIT WAS DIRTY plain and simple..Just look at it again and see Drayton Florence #29 also in the area, BUT LOOKING AT THE QB TO SEE WHEN THE BALL WAS THROWN AND HE PULLED BACK>>>McCree did not.....DIRTY

I meant early, my bad. But why don't you get out your stopwatch. Well, nevermind, I did it for you, he was 1.08 seconds early. That is the time from when he hits TJ till the time the ball crosses the play. 1 second. As for your other comments, you just don't know who Marlon McCree is if you think all that stuff because he is one of the good guys in the league. He would never purposefully try to injure someone, and to be honest TJ would have popped right back up if it wasn't for Godfrey's knee. Besides, isnt an apology (even if you think it is fake) better than TJ threatening to "whoop his ass"?

I don't feel like I am being biased because I watched ESPN all day yesterday and most of the comments were that the hit was illegal, but not dirty. To me a dirty hit would be if the guy wasnt even in the play or around the ball.

Math Word Problem

If a man can run a 40 yard dash in 4.4 seconds in a timed run, and he can run faster in a game then a timed run, and he is at spot> 1.1 seconds(assuming your bogus numbers are right) from the time the ball arrives at spot, how many yards from the ball is he when he reachs the spot assuming the ball travels at 60 MPH? Also how many yards should he have been if he timed it correctly?

Answer: IT DOES NOT MATTER BECAUSE THE HIT WAS DIRTY AND HE DID IT ON PURPOSE!
