Another Charger out for Sunday

Lucky break for the Bengals...Luis Castillo is out for Sunday's game with a high ankle sprain. Hopefully the Bengals offense can take advantage of all these guys not playing for the Charger's D and put up some points.

Not many excuses for the offense to perform poorly then. Better get it done.

I'd still rather have Phillips out, as we first expected. That would have been a completely decimated LB position (sound familiar?). Oh well. We still might match-up well against them, as most of their sacks come off of the edge rather than up the middle where we've been struggling the most. And with Merriman and Castillo out, I wonder how effective a not-completely-healthy Phillips will be.

I would love to see Palmer have time to throw again like he did in the 2nd half of the Carolina game (the last time I remember feeling like he actually had time).
