Stripes
Who's gonna watch the game tonight? This looks like a blowout waiting to happen (last year it was 56-5 Cardinals), but I'd love to see the Scarlet Knights pull off the upset. Go Rutgers! I haven't been listening carefully. Now that dishes are done and wife is resting I'll give it a more careful analysis.A Rutgers win would be oh so interesting. NYBengalfan
Go Rutgers!!!!!!!!Ray Rice went to HS one town over from me. And in my senior year I was in a scrimmage. I was a DT against New Rochelle HS and he absolutely ran me over. I tried hitting him up High and I had a bruise up and down my arm. I guess I can say it was an honor! C'mon Ray Ray.i also took the +6 1/2 in the game too.
San Antonio Bengal
It's 25 - 25 with only 1:44 left on the clock. Rutgers is driving... Texas is probably getting really happy about now.Update: Louisville just handed the game to Rutgers with that penalty on the FG try. Rutgers up 28 - 25 and only 13 seconds from winning.Update: Rutgers won!!!!!!!!! Congratuations Florida and Texas... you just got new BCS life. They have too far to climb. I don't think the voters will put them at #2 in the country... which is exactly what they will need to overcome the computers. But you might be right. If they manage to beat WVU in their house... maybe the voters will give them a shot. But OSU and Michigan both will be way too physical for that team. I pity them if they play so well all season just to get humilated on national television in a championship game. It wouldn't be right. bengalboomer7
a OSU-Mich rematch is looking more and possible.

derekshank
a OSU-Mich rematch is looking more and possible. Count me as one that would absolutely hate that.Yep... I'm with you. But I would probably rather have that than an OSU/Texas rematch (assuming that the OSU/Michigan game isn't a blow-out). Florida, Auburn or USC would all be seemingly better options than a rematch of any kind... but any and all of those 3 teams could easily lose another game. At that point, Michigan and Texas would almost certainly be the best teams available for a championship.
Stripes
Yeah, it certainly could happen because of the Big 12 and SEC Championship games... but two OSU/Mich games in one season is just sacrilege.
derekshank
A lot happened yesterday to help Rutgers case... but I think it helped USC even more. If USC finishes the season with only 1-loss, they will be in the championship game. That's what I'm pulling for right now. I don't want a rematch of any kind, and I don't want to see a lopsided OSU/Rutgers game... so USC is probably the best option. I guess I'm a USC fan from here on out, just for the sake of wanting a good championship game.
bengalboomer7
If the OSU-Mich game is close, who's to say that still isn't the best one loss team out there.USC seems to be the only team with a shot now. Both USC and Florida play some tough games and I don't expect either one to win out.

Your presumptious position disregarding rutgers and everyone else in an 'all hail to OSU' is sickening. So they beat texas BFD, so did Kansas state I imagine you were in the boat that WVU had no chance in last year's sugar bowl. I will be pulling for Michigan this week so all this Buckeye blind love will disipate. And since OSU has not and will not play Wisconsin, I will be unable to call them big ten champs (if your scenario plays out). I do agree with you in that a rematch of any kind is bad for college football. All this makes me less of a college football fan. Why can cinderella exist in every sport except football? derekshank
Give me a break. Your presumptious position disregarding rutgers and everyone else in an 'all hail to OSU' is sickening.Just for the record... you are the one in the minority here. I can't find a single respectable college football analyst who wants to put Rutgers in the National Championship game. Am I biased... sure, But you are clearly biased about the Big East. Everyone in the country seems to admit it is the weakest of all the major conferences... except you.Anyway... I don't expect Rutgers to be able to hold pace with a better West Virginia team. They simply made too many mistakes to beat Louisville... but in their home field will be able to handle Rutgers. I'm assuming most of the country agrees with this as well, or they'd have an undefeated Rutgers ranked higher than 6th and 7th in their polls. If I'm guilty of anything, it isn't disregarding Rutgers. I've been incredibly consistent in disregarding all of the Big East teams. You could even see it in the Louisville game. The slightest bit of physicality, and they folded. Rutgers is a more physical team than the other Big East teams... but to assume they can go toe-to toe with the physicality in the Big Ten is naive. And since OSU has not and will not play Wisconsin, I will be unable to call them big ten champsOkay. The Buckeye's can't be Big Ten champs, even if they finish undefeated, because they didn't play Wisconsin... who has a loss? Well, it seems to me that Wisconsin and Ohio State play pretty much the same Big Ten schedule. If one of them goes undefeated, and the other doesn't, what is there to debate? And by the way... where's all your outrage that Wisconsin doesn't play OSU, instead of the other way around? It seems to me that the #1 ranked team in the country who goes out of its way to schedule difficult out-of-conference games, isn't the one that has to prove itself against a surprise team in Wisconsin. They are the team that is actually unproven here. Did you happen to notice that the only ranked team they have played this season is Michigan... and they lost. Whatever though. Think what you like. You're right... Texas is a push-over. McCoy missing the entire game had nothing to do with their loss to KSU.
