walzav29
Marvin does not do this, but the whole team seems to have an excuse for this and that. They need to zip it and just do it. Injuries, bad calls, not getting the ball, suspensions, even excuse for not catching int's. I have heard enough. These Bengals had better turn it around starting this weekend. walshfan
Just run the damn ball!Whitworth. Bobbi and Willie are road graders.. Bluto and Steiney can help out... Run to set up the pass this week instead of the other way around.
walzav29
I agree. Go Steeler style for this week. Build the o-lines self esteem.
Scottishbengal
I agree. Go Steeler style for this week. Build the o-lines self esteem. Stop LaDainian Tomlinson running for a whole sh1tload of yards and build the D-lines credibility!
Kirkendall
I say bench Chad Johnson. It's not like he's really doing much anyway. Is that radical enough? It's not like he's helping us win (forgetting Carolina).

derekshank
It's not so much excuses... but as Hair mentioned somewhere else, it seems as though there is a general satisfaction with mediocrity. Remember how offended we were when Willie Parker said "The best team did not win this game" after we won in week 3? How many times have we heard a similar quote from a Bengal?I can't really blame most of these guys, because that 2-14 season is still fresh in most of our memories, and many of these players were part of that team. It's not hard to find "moral victories" when you're recent past has been so dismal. Especially when you have fans ready to wet themselves with joy because of an 8-8 season. But the fact remains... the dark-age of Bengaldom is behind us, and it is well-past time to move on. No more moral victories. Just victories on the scoreboard. I don't want to hear Chad complain about not getting the ball, or Rudi say it wasn't his fault, or Willie talk about play-calling, or Palmer say his mechanics are off. I just want results. And frankly... it's nice to be able to have those types of expectations. It's been far too long since most Bengal fans had them.
