UofLnMU
I'm quite suprised by this. I would have expected him to make an attempt to go out right after a SB appearance or win. Not to say that the GMen aren't far from that status, this seems a bit out of the blue.http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2630407
skyline
I'll never criticize a young player that retires early. If you have other interests and other priorities then you've got to do what you've got to do.
Edogger
Wow, that is quite the surprise but you really have to respect they guy for his decisions! Tiki is a classic old school player! Why not go out on good terms!
JaxonFord87
There was talk of this in the offseason. It isn't like this should be a shock to the Giants. I respect the fact that he wants to move on with his life, and is giving the giants a heads up on the situation.

Stripes
It's probably a great decision in the long term for his health. Running backs take such a beating through an NFL season, it seems unecessary to drag it on and on.

Barber has always been a class act and I'm sure he will continue to handle this in the right way.

Tiki's mentioned already that this will probably be his last year. He's went all Hollywood and thinks that he's going to become some kind of an actor. He should stick to the field b/c his commercials are terrible, I can't hardly get through them before I have to change the channel. I think that once he leaves he's going to regret doing so after a year or two and knows that he could still be on the field playing. Oh well, one less back that we'll have to worry about running all over us!
