derekshank
We dropped to 12 in both of them. I think we are definetly better than some of the teams ranked ahead of us... but we haven't proven it on the field to this point, so it's a fair ranking I guess.http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/powerranking?source=navhttp://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9735193
skyline
If you think 12 is bad, check out where this loser put us:http://www.bengalszone.com/power_rankings.php
Stripes
I'm surprised ESPN still has us that high. Prisco just confuses the hell out of me. When the Bengals are playing well, he is hesitant to rank them accordingly. Now that they're playing like s**t, it appears he's hesitant to move them down much. Now that they're playing like s**t, it appears he's hesitant to move them down much.I guess that just means he has them where he has them. I don't tend to agree with him much... but I respect the fact that he doesn't over-react to what happens on a given day. That's the problem with these things. People tend to over-react to one bad game, or one great game.Kind of like my unwillingness to buy that the Bears offense is that good... or that the Bengals offense is that bad. It'll work itself out in the course of the season.P.S. When I hear people talking about the Bengals, it appears that they just assume the Bengals won against the Bucs, and that is why their ranking isn't being hurt. There was a question on PTI about whether the Steelers or Bengals are more likely to miss the playoffs, and LeBatard said "If the Bengals had won the game like they should have, we wouldn't be having this conversation. They were robbed." This might be why they haven't dropped us as low as we might have expected.
Bluegrass Bengal
I think that right now, 12 is a good spot for us. I want to see the team of last year that none of the analysts believed was any good, and came out and showed them!!
