Houston gives Phillip Buchanon the boot.

Anyone remember this guy? He was who the Bengals were supposed to draft back in the 2002, and the critics scoffed when we chose Levi.

Buchanon was a disappointment for the team who drafted him (Oakland) and was traded to Houston before last year's draft. Now he's sitting on his couch at home collecting unemployment.

Just thought I'd point this out.

Wow, he was supposed to be the next great CB in Oakland, the heir to Charles Woodson's throne.

Charles Woodson's throne? What'd he have, three good years with Oakland? That hardly qualifies as a throne, E.

It's more accurate to say Buchanon was the heir to C-Dub's high chair.

Couldn't we have drafted Jeremy Shockey instead of Levi? All I can say is that im glad we didn't draft Buchanon. :shocking:

Yeah, I know I should have explained myself a little better. It was meant to be a little more sarcastic, being that he was supposed take the place of the disgruntled C-Dub, who thought he deserved a throne after three decent years.

There was just a lot of hype involved with PB...that was the point I was trying to get across.

My apologies... :blowup2:
