If he wants long hair, let him have long hair. Troy just wouldn't look right without it. As for congratulating LJ, why congratulate a guy for pulling another guy's hair? Especially after what happened to him last week, you'd think Johnson would be a little more considerate. I mean, pulling the hair if it's the only thing you can do to tackle the guy, ok. But to keep holding on to it as you fall, roll, and get up, then yanking on it after you stand up? What the hell is that?

Isn't part of Troy's heritage to not cut his hair(I think TJ's too)

its also a 15 yard pentalty to tackle someone by their hair

I don't think it was the tackling by the hair that got the penalty, it was LJ didn't let go after the play was over and gave an extra tug.

i thought the hair was apart of the uniform also but apparently its not

per PFT...Johnson was flagged on the play for unsportsmanlike conduct. CBS reported during the Chiefs-Steelers broadcast that the flag was for taunting after the play was over, and not for pulling the hair. (But James Brown of CBS said during an update in the Chargers-49ers game that the flag was related to the hair pull.)

Yeah, apparently it is legal to tackle someone by their hair, but the unsportsmanlike conduct was that after he tackled him, LJ got up an practically pulled Polamalu up by the hair, and gave an extra tug before finally letting go.

I have to agree with ya on this on SF87.

that's what I'm saying, It's legal..

Yes, tackling someone by their hair is legal. What wasn't legal was the fact that Johnson wouldn't let go after the play, and practically pulled Polamalu back up by his hair, then gave it one more yank for good measure. That was the unsportsmanlike conduct.

If I'm not mistaken, it's completely legal to tackle by the hair. It's the players decision to wear their hair long, and it's considered part f the uniform. Rasta Williams got ackled by the dreads all the time.

Ya know, I'd NEVER EVER share a bathroom with Troy. Imagine the hair balls in the shower :puke:

That is just plain wrong...but I am totally sure you are absolutely correct!

It's not like any of it matters. Troy hardly seemed upset about the whole deal.

You could see the pain in his face after he got tackled. But no, he really didn't get to upset because that is not his nature. He is to mild mannered to let that get to him. If it had been T.O. however, helmets would have been flying!
