BengalszoneBilly
Personally, I think there is room for drastic improvement, as the Odell incident has shown.Does anyone know exactly who this staff consists of?Which team in the NFL has the best scouts in YOUR opinion? derekshank
How do you figure that Odell was a scouting mistake? It isn't as if Odell is home right now because he can't play football. The Bengals admitted they took a calculated risk on Odell. It didn't work... but that is't the fault of the scouts.I will never complain about getting more scouts on this team... but I can't blame the scouting department for the Odell problem. Maybe I should have re-worded this topic title to include the folks who look at the talent available in the draft.
agreen_112
The risk they took picking Odell b/c of character issues is completly coincidental to the fact that he got suspended for the year. He's not a bad seed, just made a bad decision. Our scouts on the other hand are something that I feel can be improved by Mikey forking out some more cash to bring in a few expert scouts. New England and Indy have really good scouts, as well as Jacksonville and San Fransisco.
