jditty47 Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 how many players are thriving that were mediocre players in cincy? Foley, hawkins, manual, schobel, dan wilkerson - how about that guy since he left cincy? pretty good if u ask me. Quote
volcom69 Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Yea carroll would be ok i would like them to go after LB depth i think i could be wrong that Chad Brown might be out there maybe peter boulware im not to sure about him, but i think Brown still might be there, just to come in for a cheap price for some vetren depth, and maybe light a fire under the Def ass cause they need it. MiamiOH91604 Posted October 4, 2006 Author Report Posted October 4, 2006 Well I was thinking that maybe his sub-par play has to do with the losing situation in Green Bay the past two and a half years on top of coaching changes and the fact that they signed Woodson this past off season.I think if we did get him for relatively cheap, and with Marvin at the helm, a new change of scenery could/would bring out that potential.do we NEED more DB's?? No not at THIS moment. But why pass up on such potential/talent for cheap? Quote
ArmyBengal Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 I don't think that much of Woodson anymore, but there was a reason Carroll was a 1st round pick and there is no way you can just flat out deny him. That being said, the depth and the fact Tory should be gone next year would be good reasons to bring him here. I'm one of those people who also believes he couldn't be much worse than Ratliff...WHODEY !!! Quote

Some other good examples would be Lamont Thompson and Mike Goff. Im sure theres more. Quote

schweinhart Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 Who could forget Bo Orlando.....Or how bout Darryl Williams. Nobody...not even the Clownies...claimed Batman. So his 1st round salary is no issue for teams to get him on the cheap if any is so inclined. Quote
