NYBengalfan
Maybe this was good for us.1.The team was beyond over-confident....... this will be a wakeup call for them....( as well as us here)2.We have a bye week, and this was a tough one to sit on. We will come out pissed and crush Tampa Bay.3. Great learning experience.4. If somebody said that we would be 3-1 after the 4th game. How would you be reacting???? JaxonFord87
I would have probably doubted them...with palmer coming back from his knee injury this year, i will happily take the 3-1 start. We are only 1 game behind the ravens, and already up on the steelers.
DesperateDerelict
AGREED!!! Given some time to gather perspective, I'll think you'll find that this will be viewed as a 'good' loss - it's not like we let it get away, and it shows we have a long way to go to be a SB XLI elite team. Had you asked anybody on this board in August (except the blatant and unrealistic homers) if they'd be happy with 3 - 1 going into the bye, you'd have heard a resounding "Yes". agreen_112
New England is a tough team. For us to come out so far 3-1 is great. Hopefully everyone gets healthy (including the coaches, lol) for week 6, and we see some kind of a move for a new LB.
volcom69
Are there any good LBs out there to pick if so who. I wish we were like the ravens who just seem to get it on the d side of the ball they take Bart Scott and that guy just looks great it seems all LBs there look great. Im not sure if its the style of D we play or what none of the players get it.

buck3y3d
No doubt a 3-1 start would have looked good. However, after seeing our potential and the crap we have put on the field, you cant help but be a little disappointed. This team has so much talent, and we are simply playing with bad mechanics. Since the KC game, we have been going down the tube.I agree this is not a bad time to lose a game, and while Im not upset with a 3-1 start (although after looking at KC, Pit, and NE's situation, 3-1 is far less impressive then we thought it would be), I cant help but feel a little disappointed as that was crap. cover2
It's great to be 3-1 and we could have been 2-2, so easily. We need to fix the problems. The coaching staff needs to accept some blame....this was a team loss.In the NFL you can look like crap one week and the next week look great; its the nature of the beast.Got one way to go and its straight ahead! walzav29
Good point. The Bengals and there fans were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over confident. Didn't there seem to be a lack of excitement in the jungle? Let's sit, learn, and root for the Broncos and Chargers this weekend.
