Kazkal
Buccaneers | Simms could be looking for work in 2007Sat, 30 Sep 2006 20:42:48 -0700Roy Cummings, of the Tampa Tribune, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Chris Simms (spleen) could be deemed expendable if rookie QB Bruce Gradkowski plays well. Simms signed a one-year contract with the team in March. Simms had hoped he would play well this season and cash in with a larger contract after 2006. QB Luke McCown could also push Simms out of a job, as McCown has the mobility head coach Jon Gruden likes in a quarterback.

schweinhart
If they play with Gradkowski for too long, they'll be in the #1 overall sweepstakes all right -- for JaMarcus Russell. Any team picking a QB there and not taking Russell are out of their minds. All Russell has to do is get through the year healthy.
Stripes
Agreed, Schweiny. Russel looks like the best QB option this draft season. That arm strength is rediculous.
