Cincinnati Bengals versus the Patriots

They way you take Brady out of the game is the way that Marvin yells at the media about every press conference that they knock the Bengals Defense: You play the best defense with YOUR OFFENSE on the field!

The way to take Brady out of the game is to put a 2 score lead on him and make him irrelevant! Then no matter what he does, a TD or FG at the end of the game is meaningless!

A 3 score lead is even better....

I would like to see Brady have 55 attempts like he did last week....Preferably coming after the Bengals are up 34-10.....

Ole Belichick might have something for them....We'll see.....

Honestly, play 8 men in the box to stop Corey and Maroney from running on us. The only thing in the Pats' passing game that scares me are the TE's. They are going to want to play a grinder type of game against us to keep the score close. If we let them hit the short routes and run the ball we won't be able to rely on the turnovers to Keep us in the game.

Backing up my fellow Steeler fan; we lost to Brady when he had a better team around him and CHARLIE WEISS. (at that time the whole league had no answer for the Pats; not just us they were a dynasty) Don't underestimate Charlie's departure when evaluating the NE passing game. Like I said in the other thread everyone is talking about NE's running game and Palmer. Rudi Johnson could be the unheralded hero in this game.

Well, I had a fun week here. What, you didn't see me around? That's because I just talked smack with Steeler fans all week in here. And silly me thought I would get a pass thanks to the schedule makers. :lmao:

I just can't bust on your franchise. Though pats fans get called bandwagoners ALL the time, I am no bandwagoner. I lived through the terrible years. I got season tix in 1994 when Kraft bought the team (hence the screen name) and have had them now for 12 years.

I'm happy for you guys. You deserve to have a great team. You deserve to kick Pitts ass in 2X a year for 10 years. You deserve Chad Johnson and Carson and Rudy and TJ and Marvin. Enjoy the ride!

Here's to an injury free game. Thanks for having me this week....even if all I did was talk ish with a Steeler fan. :sure:

Oh yeah, later steeler 87, it was real, it was fun, it was real fun....come by patriots planet for a visit sometime!

Actually, we DID do that in 2004. Miami has done it too, as well as Denver, and San Diego, and Kansas City, and Indianapolis, and, although they didn't get the W, Buffalo.

So yeah, just keep 8 men in the box to try to stop Maroney, hit Brady a few times, and you'll get a few interceptions easy.

Oh, and you're leaving already sonsofkraftybob? What a shame. I enjoyed my little beat down sessions with you. Perhaps I will drop by Pats planet someday, it just might not be the same with a ton of blind, idiotic pats fans there automatically disagreeing with everthing I say, because I dare speak out against their god, Bill Belichick.

Well I'll tell you what, if you feel the need to receive any more "sessions" let me know.

And please do come by...we are the most laid back MB in the whole league, no gangbangs. We have a few resident Steeler fans that contribute and they seem to enjoy it.

You do know, it's always business....never personal right?

It seems to me that the Patriots had better hope that their front 7 can stop Rudi AND get intense pressure on Palmer... because their secondary looks completely overmatched.

The have 3 DB's who haven't practiced all week due to injury (including their #1 corner, Ellis Hobbs), and they also don't have a single starter that is taller than 5'10". Our WR's should not have trouble getting open, so if Palmer has any time at all, he's going to tear them apart.

That said... their front 7 is the strength of their defense, so stopping the run and getting pressure on Palmer has got to be the plan. However, I find it hard to believe that they will do a better job than Pittsburgh did last week, and we still managed 28 points.

I just think NE is overmatched in this game. I'll be surprized if we don't cover the spread.
