Justin and Steinbach are priorities...Geathers would be nice. Larson has developed into a nifty punter...would we expect to just pick up another easily? I vote no on depending on a rookie punter.

With Odell's issues, I have to say that Brian Simmons has jumped up on my list considerably.

After watching Steinbach play tackle, told it was no problem for him to be center, and already being a probowl alt. gaurd, I'll say steiny. You can't out a price tag on that kind of versatility

in my eyes it would be simmons first priority, then either justin smith or geathers, then possibly steinbach - honestly resigning him would be great, but wouldnt hurt too much to lose him for someone cheaper - andrews or witworth.

Landon and Caleb are both FA's after this season. Madieu's contract ends in '07, and Simmons doesn't end until '08.

Locking up Madieu, Geathers and Landon long term.

madeiu's would be nice to get done. alright simmons not being done till 08 makes that a nonissue as i doubt they do anything with him in the next offseason.

i do see miller and lj getting resigned though.

the one big ? mark is justin smith. im not sure hes worth the type of money they are going to need to throw at him. him being in there obviously doesnt help the run game too huge. hes a solid player dont get me wrong, but a critical loss? nah.

Agreed I wanna see bsimmons retire a bengal but I woulden't put it on key things do this upcomming off season...even if not as starter but just to have backup who knows system.

I'm willing to bet that you can put a pricetag on that type of versatility, and the reason he hasn't been locked up long term is due to the dollar amount Camp Steinbach came up with.
