Kazkal Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 They beat bad teams like good teams are suppossed too...now they beat the falcons who were 2nd favorite team in the NFC I think easilly be 4-6th seed now "poors salt in the texans wounds" Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 I'll give them credit for being 3-0 and having beat the Falcons in the game last night, but I'm not ready to say they are going to the playoffs just yet. How many passes from Vick were dropped last night ?? Had to be some kind of record !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
agreen_112 Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 they could be this years dark horse! Quote
Edogger Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 Good point Army, how many balls were dropped by Alge alone. One for a touchdown that could have changed the momentum of that game. The Saints looked a lot better than I would have expected, and if they keep that mentality and play that hard nosed for most of the season...they could sneak in the back door of the playoffs. Remember, every year for the past two or three they were one of of those teams to watch out for until Aaron Brooks singlehandedly destroyed their hopes. Now that they have Brees, things could be different this year. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 They could sneak in the back doorHey, they better be careful with that, someone could go to jail over that sh*t !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
kayaker0678 Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 i think the saints are going to the superbowl--- you heard it here first. and no i am not over spains house getting contact high Quote
Edogger Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 They could sneak in the back doorHey, they better be careful with that, someone could go to jail over that sh*t !!!WHODEY !!!No worries...its the Saints were talking about not the Bengals, they are the ones that would have to worry about jail. JUST KIDDING!! They have a real chance since Brooks and Haslett is no longer there. I mean they gutted that whole team and organization. They are a real underdog, just like every other year. But this may be the year that everyone looks over them and they actually do something. Quote
Kazkal Posted September 26, 2006 Author Report Posted September 26, 2006 I'm not saying like 1-3seed in nfc but at best 4th morel ike 5th or 6th....it is the nfc after all. Quote
Casey Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 They could very well go to the playoffs. No one in the NFC has really stepped up and impressed me this year, except Chicago and Seattle and now the Seahawks are going to be without Alexander for a while. Who knows, the NFC is wide open and anyone could make it it, and they have as good of a chance as anyone I guess. I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock into what kind of team the Saints are at this point though. They beat the Browns and the Packers on the road (which they should have) and yea, they beat Atlanta at home, but that game last night was nothing but pure emotion. There was no way they were going to lose that game. Quote
Stripes Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 Drew Brees is the X-factor... If he continues to play solid ball, then yes the Saints will be in the playoffs. It's hard to miss the playoffs after a 3-0 start, but they'll have a tough road ahead.I'll give 'em a 50/50 shot at a wildcard as of right now. Quote
Kazkal Posted September 26, 2006 Author Report Posted September 26, 2006 Ya but we beat the packers and browns last year good teams beat bad teams all same I think 10-6 best 7-9 worst for saints. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 i think the saints are going to the superbowl--- you heard it here first. and no i am not over spains house getting contact high Willing to bet a Bengals jersey of choice on that statement ?? If so, I'd like to pre-order a Sam Adams one in black please !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
Dan2330 Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 Last night's game was an emotional high for them, but look out now for the 'adrenaline dump'. The Saints always seem to find a way to hang around until the last couple of weeks of the season Quote
