membengal
I know picking on Geoff Hobson is something is a pasttime for a bunch of folks in here, but I tend to like what he gets done. And, occasionally, we get something from him that is really outstanding. Like this piece:http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=5517I learned some stuff in there that was new (and, given how much we all obsessively read about the Bengals, that is hard to do). Of particular interest was learning of the steps that Marvin has taken to help the team mature and get ready for the season and any adversity it encounters.Good stuff. Tasher
Yeah, I agree, this is a pretty good read.Yeah, picking on Hobs is a particularly enjoyable pastime around here. But (as one who has generally observed and not engaged) Hobs tends to bring it on himself and leave himself open to criticism by his actions/stories or by the LACK of actions/stories.He does come through every once in a while though. If you're expecting him to be Woodward or Bernstein, forget it. I mean, he does work for them. I think he's as objective as could possibly be expected under the circumstances.
