MacD BengalFan
The Steeler fans that troll this board wants us to believe that their Steelers should be fear by the Bengals. So how much should the Steelers be feared when the only 9 first down, 26 yards rushing and 153 yards of total offense while the defense gave up over 360 yards? Based on these stats, the Steelers had better hope the Bengals don't hang a 50 spot on their heads with over 500 yards of offense. So, all you Steeler fans, lets hear all of your excuses as to why Big Ben had a passer rating of around 40 and why Willie Parker could only muster 20 yards rushing. And this is from a team that is supposed to be able to run the ball at will.Sorry, I don't fear the Steelers the way you guys suggest we should.P.S. Big Ben actually had a temperature of 100.4 degrees, not 104!
Ox
That being said, the yards Jax gained were very hard earned. That Defense looked pretty damned good last night. I still think we'll put up over 20 on them though. But scared? Not hardly. There's blood in the water this game.
duus
Scared? Of Willie-or-wont-he Parker? I'm betting on a big old 'wont-he'. And 3 picks from Benji. If we put up 24, it will all be over.

Dadraftnick
I like (how many times)Willie Fumble Parker--Fumble is his middle name. And Ben (trying to remember my name) Rothlesburger.
BigBenBlows
I am more worried about the Ravens this year than the Stealers. Any division game is important and a tough one but I just don't think Shi*sburgh has it this year.
lando griffin
My only concern is how Heath Miller will play this week without Dexter in the secondary...everyone knows tight ends tend to torch us. I think it will be a close game, and if we do lose its not the end of the world. Worst case we split the series. Gotta remember JAX only scored 9 points, the Steelers D looked pretty good. Granted, our O is more versatile and explosive, but our D is not on par with JAX. I think we'll be ok as long as Levi and Houshmazode are back. We need Levi against their defensive rush and blitz's, I don't care what you guys think about that issue. Houshmazoulie is needed as well. I mean, we got depth and playmakers with Henry and Kwash, but I just don't trust Henry to be the consistent number 2. The last Bengals/Steelers game in Pitt had me on my toes, and the Steelers are a very hard team to put the nail in the coffin on. I'd feel much more comfortable with the very clutch Houshvadilla out there when the game gets gritty.
derekshank
I don't want to take anything away from the Jacksonville defense. They were primed and dominant. They certainly impressed me.However, Pittsburgh's offense was equally unimpressive. No running game whatsoever, and Big Ben proves again that he can't win when the running game isn't saving his butt. The week before, although Bledsoe played poorly, and threw 3 INT's, they still managed to put up 17 points and 323 yards, including 88 rushing yards at 4 yards/carry. Compare that to Ben's 2 INT's the Steelers 0 points, 153 total yards and 26 rushing yards at 1.9 yards/carry... and the Steelers had 11 days to prepare! It's still going to be a very hard-fought game... and the Steelers are going to be all the more pumped to try to beat the Bengals, but I for one am a lot less worried about this game than I was 24 hours ago. GapControl
Real football fans in Pissburgh are scared right now. You don't lose 9-0 on MNF and look at the next week like you are going to dominate.

Standard line for home team is -3 or something like that. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/dailylinesNow it is -2. So what gives? Looks like the Bengals are favored on the road to me! don't think that equates to fear. But that is just me. Strap 'em up, this is going to be a fun game. Steelers, you better bring your lunch pails, 'cause the Bengals sure will.
