Bengals30 Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 According to Marvin in the Post game press confrence....Bluto sounds like he's gonna be OK maybe not this week but I was worried it was an ACL tear As far as D-Jax is concerned he left the stadium in a protective boot but said he was alright and is day to day.....aren't we all!!!!! Stripes Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Good to hear that neither injury is serious, if that's really the case, but we're really going to need Braham. Quote
skyline Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Day to day, huh? Let's hope.I guess I just don't understand the whole boot thing. It's always seemed to me that if an injury requires a protective boot, it must be a tad more severe than "day-to-day". Quote
Bengals30 Posted September 18, 2006 Author Report Posted September 18, 2006 I would think so too...but that's what I heard on the postgame Quote
Kazkal Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 diden't marvin say sprain for dj?diden't player have sprain recentl'y and play a week later?(not for bengals but remember hearing about it) Quote
Wisk Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Let's hope the Jaguars put a hurt on the "Stealers" tomorrow night. I really would hate to lose DJax though. I believe that Madieu, Big Sam and Carson make the difference next week vs Pitt. We had none of the 3 in the playoff game.....Let's hope for Jackson though..... Quote

jonf45uk Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 i think we'll certainly need dj in for next week. we were shown last year how teams employed tight ends and backs against our safeties to great effect. williams and dexter are much better tacklers than ohalete, mitchell and kk were, and with the line doing a better job in the middle it would be a shame to have a weak link in the d again.a fit tj would be nice too, but chris henry stood up well this week though.GET WELL SOON!!!jon Quote
