What is Whitlock's deal?

How can he be so ignorant to be picking teams like the Ravens and Redskins to make the Super Bowl, and he just wrote an article saying the Bengals have a chance of going 6-10? Does he hate Cincinnati that much or is he simply just an idiot?

It's the latter. He admits from time to time that he doesn't really know what he's talking about. He just says stuff to stir people up. Ignore him.

He's just an idiot as you suggest. Bengals have a chance of going 6-10? Who doesn't? Seriously, what do you think would happen if the Colts lose Manning and Harrison for the entire season? Imagine pretty much any team with their QB and receiver/running back gone. 6-10 is easy to think about then. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

I think it's become what he's known for and he can't jump on the band wagon just because everyone else (sane thinking individuals I might add) is recognizing what's going on.

Off the supject a little bit, but someone just as stupid. I got an email earlier with famous people's quotes on it and here is one from Joe Theisman.

"The word "genius" isn't applicable in football. A

genius is a guy like Norman Einstein." -

--Joe Theisman, NFL football quarterback & sports analyst.

This can not possibly be accurate info. then again it's Norman Theisman.

How can such a moron continue to keep his job. And how does he get the ocasional gig on PTI? He really is one of the lamest sports commentators. Ever.

:bengal:

He keeps a job because we talk about his articles. his job is to sell newspapers, create web hits, etc, etc. Draw traffic, that's his job. Guess he did it.

This stuff doesn't bother me. At this point and time predicting 6-10 can happen just as much as 13-3. That's why we play the games.

And I not even sure what article we're talking about

First, he is most certainly a moron. However, I also believe his brother lives in Cincinnati having married a Bengal fan, so Whitlock hates the Bengals. Real objective there, jackass.

As mentioned, please don't go read the site and drive ad revenue that will only serve to feed the troll. Because that's all he is. He's not a journalist, he's a troll.

Yeah... I enjoy that quote, but this one is my all time favorite.

Bill Peterson, a Florida State football coach: "You guys line up alphabetically by height." And, "You guys pair up in groups of three, then line up in a circle."

Yea, Whitlock said Texas has a 99.9% chance of beating Ohio State...he even predicted that the 'Horns would win by "TWO" touchdowns.

Nevermind the fact that in his five years at OSU, Tressel's teams have lost by two touchdowns or more only twice (Michigan 2003 and Iowa 2004).
