batman19 Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 what do u think of the fake jerseys? Quote
NYBengalfan Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 I voted for the real one. Ive already got a real Chad Johnson Jersey. Quote
aaronburr Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 How about the $40-50 real ones on eBay?And a tip for fellow shoppers...I bought a fake white jersey online and am not exactly happy with the material its made out of. In general, I would recommend against buying a fake white jersey and either getting a fake black one (my fake black one is decent) or investing in the authentic white jersey. Quote
Tasher Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 forgot an option: NONE.Real is too expensive and the fake is, well, fake!I like the Philly Eagle rabbit mascot idea! Quote
PMThor Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 Be careful if you get the real one. That would be a lot of money to spend on a player who leaves the team, gets cut, or goes to jail etc. etc...Take my word on it.I have an authentic jersey from the mid nineties. My girl at the time bought it for me for a present. I can't wear it now.It is....Carl Pickens. Yes, we broke up. Quote

I still wear my Jeff Blake jersey once in a blue moon to prove that I am not a bandwagon fan. Quote
West Coast Bengal Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 I didn't vote. Here's why, there's a third option these days if you go to the right store. It usually runs you 100-120 bucks. It looks as authentic as it gets. the numbers are made of material and are sewn on, but each layer isn't sewn on like an authentic. If you go on ebay and look up bengals EQT jersey, you should find something. It's legit reebok and everything, just a third style of jersey! Recently, I scored a Roange Chad jersey in this style from ebay and must say I'm one of the luckiest bastards alive!WHO DEY Quote

ArmyBengal Posted September 3, 2006 Report Posted September 3, 2006 The real ones are to d*mn expensive, so I go with the cheaper version !!! Come to think of the old player jersey thing, there is a guy that comes to Fatso's (where I watch the game in San Antonio) that still wears his beat up Akili Smith Jersey. I don't get it, but sure as sh*t, he wears it every week !!!WHODEY !!! Quote

Which I think is a good thing, now that we'll be dominating the rest of the league. We don't want to turn into Steeler fans.Incidentally, I've seen pink "women's" jerseys online....how long before we see an 85 jersey with gold numbers and stripes instead of orange? Quote

I own a replica CJ jersey, and I bought a replithentic orange CP jersey online and its great. If you google replithentic bengals jersey, or with the plaer's name you want, sites will pop up. I got mine off Fans Edge. Quote
