jditty47
Las Vegas my whole life(25 yrs today), never been to a game in cincy, changing that this year though.....hey how did you become a bengals fan being out west? im just wondering because cincinnati is pretty far away well heh heres my life story. I was raised on basketball and baseball, and when i was a kid my parents only let me play 1 sport...so i played baseball, my first time i got placed on in t-ball was the reds. I started liking watching football ever since i went to soldier field and saw the 85 bears play, but since my bro loved them, i couldnt, so i chose cincy. It was like my bro and my thing, his first baseball team was the cubs so he loves everything chicago, and mine was the reds so i love everything cincinnati. Everyone always asks me...u realize u are the only bengal fan in vegas? It kinda makes it different and more special. All my life now ive followed the bengals/reds/bearcats. I finally went to my first bengal game this past season in arizona...ya we stunk it up but man it was awesome and awkward at the same time. I didnt know how to react. Ive never seen that many *** damn bengal fans in my life, ive always been used to being the only one. I also have the leaping bengal logo tattoo'd on my back shoulder and it looks awesome, had it since i was 18. So just cuz i live on the otherside of the country, never been to a actual bengal game in cincy, or am from cincy itself, im a true huge fan , and this next season i will definately make a home game in cincy, one of the earlier ones, cuz i'd prolly die sitting in the cold for 4 hours straight!!! \

redsfan2
From Cincinnati. We lived on Vine St. in the Over the Rhine area till I was in the 5th grade. My Mom used to drag me around Findlay Market when she went shopping when I was a kid. We moved to Clifton around the UC campus, and I graduated from Hughes High School in 1968.Been a Reds fan since I can remember. Used to go to Crosley Field ( when my brother didn't want to go ) with my Dad. Been a Bengals fan since they were born.Went into the Marines. Married a girl from VA. and lived there for a while ........ now living in western New York about 8 miles from lake Ontario ......... near Niagara Falls area ( Bills country ).Still get to Reds games when I can. Last year was my first trip to see the Bengals with my son who I've brainwashed for the last 28 years to be a Reds and Bengals fan too. Saw the Bengals kick the snot out of the Ravens and loved every minute of it. May try to sneak one in this year too if we get the chance. BengalszoneBilly
Everyone always asks me...u realize u are the only bengal fan in vegas Well jditty, you haven't always been the only Bengal fan in Las Vegas. I moved here to Prescott Arizona from Las Vegas in '88. It's only about a 5 hour drive at the speed limit. Usually less for me. I worked at McCarren International Airport for America West Airlines as a Technician. I lived right by the intersection of Charelston and Nellis. My favorite Casino is Binions downtown. Great craps tables and lots of them. But as you said, very few Bengal fans. I may be driving to Vegas to meet some buddies next weekend. They're staying at the New York, New York Hotel Casino. It all depends on my work schedule. Kinda iffy right now.
