ChadJohnson-85 Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Wasn't Stallworth a 2nd string WR when he played for the Saints?http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/PHI/9624326 Quote
rishipatel Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Hmmm, I wonder if this means that the Saints are gonna jump in to the Deion Branch mix. Who is gonna be their #2 reciever after Joe Horn now? I guess the Eagles won't be going after Branch now. Interesting impact on FFL. Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 I think he ws their #2 guy at once and might of been #3 too. One of the fastest guys in the NFL, but, unfortunately for the Eagles, he has stone hands. Quote
JaxonFord87 Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 From NFL.com: Stallworth, the 13th overall pick in the 2002 draft, had 70 receptions for 945 yards and seven touchdowns last season. Not bad for a second reciever. Quote
Stripes Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Always a sleeper in the world of fantasy football. Good pickup for Philly. Quote
Edogger Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Waahoo! Philly has a whole new WR Corp this year (Pinkston was out so doesn't count). I don't know if this will benefit the Eagles or not. Most of the receivers are young with exception of Pinkston. I personally was hoping that they went for Branch, for the leadership and veteran qualities. Now Stallworth just has to keep ahold of the ball. I know he has been known to have "stone hands" in the past but look who was throwing him the ball...Aaron Brooks. McNabb should have a hayday with Baskett and Stallworth.Wonder if Baskett will still be listed as the starter now? Puts an interesting mix to the depth chart. I don't see why the Eagles have such a facination with second string receivers. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 The Saints got a linebacker they needed and a 4th round pick and gave up a WR. Good on both parts !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
