ChadJohnson-85 Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis did OK Friday in his own news conference following Carson Palmer’s newsmaker on Thursday. Lewis revealed that Palmer will play in the Sept. 1 preseason finale against Indianapolis even though his 2006 debut is just four days after that against the Packers this Monday night. Lewis also said Pro Bowl defensive tackle Sam Adams is going to make his Bengals debut Monday against Green Bay. It’s believed Adams has passed his physical and is going to practice Friday. Lewis said he would see how Palmer does during the game in deciding how long he’ll play, although it sounded like the coach would like his quarterback to come out of halftime and play into the third quarter. Lewis said those questionable for Monday are offensive lineman Scott Kooistra (toe), cornerback Deltha O’Neal (knee) and linebacker Hannibal Navies. Out are running back Chris Perry (ankle), defensive lineman Jonathan Fanene (hamstring) and left tackle Adam Kieft (knee).Cant wait to see BIG SAM on Monday Night next week!
