Dan2330
Here is my hit-list:1- Get rid of the 'No Fun League' attitude. To be more specific, this years new end zone celebration rule. I say go ahead and allow the teams to celebrate but here is a way to curb it: As soon as the team scores a touchdown start the playclock- if the celebrating team is not out of the end zone when the kicking team is trying to kick the PAT then pentalize them if the playclock expires2- Quit trying to isolate Las Vegas. Let's face it sportsgambling and the NFL go hand in hand, I mean who doesn't talk about 'the point spread' in a game. You don't hear guys in the bar saying 'Hey the Yanks are a -116 to win tonight' but you do hear them say the Jets are a '3 point dog'. I was in Vegas last year for the Super Bowl, what a madhouse- would of been better if the NFL did not send the death threats to the casinos a couple of years ago about charging admission to the Super Bowl parties. Last time I checked at least in Vegas sports gambling was LEGAL3- Run a play at the end of the game- no more QB's taking a knee. How many great games do you see come down to the team leading by a few points taking a knee at the end of the game. So anti-climatic. Yea, I know you run the risk of injuries but at least make it so the QB has to hand off the a running back or something, after all you never know what might happen, a bad handoff or they could pull a 'Bettis' and fumble on the goalline in the playoffs. 4- Make the NFL Network High Def, love the fact of games on the NFL Network this year but hating the fact that they won't be available in High Def. ChadJohnson-85
I would only change one thing. I'd kick the steAlers out of the NFL. Probably wouldn't be able to but I could try.
CPalmer9
making fans pay to watch games is a big mistake (NFL Network)...get rid of that, nfl makes enough money already
Stripes
Ease up the on rule restrictions directed at defense, specifically in defending the pass.

San Antonio Bengal
If I were commish, I'd force the Broncos and Bills to get better uniforms immediately.

chrishcovga
OK , Since no one took the post serious First let me say, Tagliabue did a great job. Probably better than Rozelle. And to be honest I don't think Goodell can do a better job than his predecessor.Gotta Have Rule Changes !!!#1. If you pay 53 men , then you should be able to play 53 men ! Only having a 46 man active game roster limits teams and puts the more high profile players in greater risk. As an Owner, I don't want Mega - Million dollar contracts i.e.(players) on the field in the 4th quarter of a blowout, because the backup is banged up.#2. Practice squad players were drafted by you or signed to Free Agent contracts by you, so Why does every NFL team get a free shot at signing them once the season starts?#3. The Salary Cap has to go up by 5 - 10 million a year for the next 10 years. That's actually a small amount to ask for considering how much the T.V. revenues pay for NFL salaries. # 4. A Rookie Salary Cap. Paying rookies Top money at a position they've never played professionally is idiotic. Vernon Davis, who I'm sure will be a fine Tight End got paid 25 million dollars because he ran a 4.38 forty yard dash. Gonzalez and Gates, Jaws must have hit the floor considering how they dominate the game only to watch a guy come in off the street and top their collective salaries together.#5. Put the Draft back at 8 rounds. Yeah it'll be an hour longer, but fans like it, and most teams would prefer it I'm sure. #6. The Super Bowl has to move from City to City. Not just Domes, but outdoor facilities in northern states as well. - Paul Tagliabue helped the League build 21 new stadiums in his 17 years. So Why can't all NFL teams benefit it. IF you can afford a Super Bowl ticket which range from the thousands to tens of thousands, then I'm sure you can afford a Winter coat!#7. No MORE L.A. teams - If there are going to be any more stadiums, then they should be in States where the revenue and television coverage are already at top bill. And the City that gets the first shot is........................ Las Vegas ,NEVADA. That's right the 33rd team in the N.F.L. should be the Las Vegas Gamblers. They'll have poker chips and dice on their helmets.
bengalboomer7
GREAT ideas Chris, I love the "play all 53" rule.I think they should always play the Super Bowl in a cold weather city. That's part of what football's all about.I'm voting for Chriscovga to change his handle to Chris the Commish!
BlainThePain
#2. Practice squad players were drafted by you or signed to Free Agent contracts by you, so Why does every NFL team get a free shot at signing them once the season starts?I disagree, I think they should have every chance they can get to make an active roster somewhere. I would agree with that if they had a 53 man active roster like you said though.
