BigBenBlows
I spent that draft pimping Champ Bailey hard, and Daunte Culpepper if the Bengals simply had to have a QB with Couch and McNabb off the board. In hindsight I feel pretty good about that....even if both players have been less than advertised...and are no longer with the teams that drafted them. But truth be told I had seen Akili Smith play in two games and I thought he had the potential to be a solid NFL QB. Thus, I wasn't very upset when he was selected. But here's the rub. After being drafted I really can't think of a single thing that Akili Smith got better at. Zero progress.HOF, at least you are honest enough to say that you thought he was a good pick at the time. Most people would probably say " I knew he sucked from day one" blah blah blah bulls**t. Way to have some balls.
