I saw this in a USA Today article and thought it might spark some good conversation...

#1. If Culpepper stays healthy, that could be enough for the Dolphins to take over that Division.

#2. Javon Walker is overrated in my book, especially coming off a big knee injury.

#3. If T.O. keeps his cool and Bledsoe doesn't fall apart, this will be BIG for their offense.

#4. Keyshawn will be a great compliment to Steve Smith, who should have a huge year due to this signing.

#5. Vinatieri is money and now kicking half his games indoors must be a dream come true.

#6. The Cardinals still need o-line help.

#7. The Saints are hurting for more than a QB.

#8. Steve Hutchinson is part of the reason we won't be able to keep our o-line intact.

#9. Abraham and Kerney should be a pass rush nightmare week in and week out.

#10. Sam Adams wasn't part of the original poll, but being a homer, I added him.

If I had to pick just one of those to say which was "the best", I would go with a healthy Culpepper !!!

WHODEY !!!

I was going to vote Culpepper but I thought that Edgerrin James would be a better choice.

Don't get me wrong, Arizona will definitely benefit from the "Edge", but with the addition of G Milford Brown via the Texans in FA and drafting G Lutui from USC, I can't see their o-line being much improved. Adding a Texans o-lineman is like saying you've added another herpes sore to your current collection... It goes with all the others, but is of no real value...

WHODEY !!!

Sam Adams apparently isn't helping his situation, even though he wasn't originally part of this poll:

Bengals | Team looking for Adams to get in better shape

Chick Ludwig, writing for the Sporting News, reports the Cincinnati Bengals would like DT Sam Adams to lose some weight and get in better shape.

WHODEY !!!

I think everyone has forgotten how bad Culpepper played before getting hurt. Even if he stays healthy/is healthy at all I'm not sold he is going to be much of an improvement.

Javon Walker is a little better than average... doubt he makes that much of a difference really.

TO will probably help the cowboys out a lot this year... that is if Bledsoe gets him the ball. My hate for the Cowboys hopes that Bledsoe can't deliver and TO tears them apart like he did the Eagles.

I agree that Keyshawn will help Steve Smith out A LOT. Kinda scary actually.

Hmmm, Vinatieri may be quite a bit of help. Surprising how many games a kicker can win or lose for his team.

Cardinals a never good... doesn't matter who they add. Of course this was once said about the Bengals. Edge could help but who really knows. I'm sure he'll regret leaving Indy and his yearly playoff games.

Brees is a good QB and I bet the Saints surprise a few people this year. I'm not saying they are super bowl bound or even close... but they'll be dangerous and steal a few wins. I find myself randomly pulling for them a little this year.

Vikings will be better... but they still have a lot of holes.

Agree about Abraham and Kerney.

Right with ya. People seemed not to have noticed that for his entire career before last year, he was throwing to Randy Moss (and Chris Carter for a while). I don't find it coincidental that he went from All Pro to bench material as soon as Moss left.

To me, the only interesting question is whether Minny would have gotten pissed enough to bench him had he not gotten hurt - Tice was trying to hold on to his job by that point.

I've always thought Culpepper was one of the more overrated players in the league.

As for the other guys...

Meshawn's over the hill, Brees might not be recovered (big gamble), same for Walker, the Hutchinson steal was absolutely brilliant and is a loophole the league has to close, Edge helps but last I checked he's not a QB, Abraham's a badass, and I keep thinking Vinatieri has some injury issues or NE wouldn't have let him go.

Oh, and TO will either take the Cowboys to the playoffs...or he'll be tossing Bledsoe under the bus by week 12 if they're under .500.

And I forgot, Sam Adams gets added to PFT's "turd" list after eating a family of 4.

i semi agree with culpepper but my vote goes for brees. saints havent had a qb in forever and brees gives them a shot at the playoffs if the rest of the team can improve. brees gives the saints hope...hope they havent seen in years.

I hate T.O. but he makes a huge impact when he plays the game. He is by far the best all around receiver in the game. He is tough across the middle, he is really good w/ the long ball, and he is as good as it gets running after the catch. Look at Mcnabb's #'s w/ T.O. and his #'s W/out him. He went from one of the top 3 fantasy QB's to one of the worst.

TO is also, brees was also great but I don't think he'll do well on the saints being that he has horn and who else to throw to?
