DC_Bengals_Fan
They dont need him anyway, they got Javon Walker & Rod Smith. http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/DEN/9543358http://www.denverbroncos.com/page.php?id=3...mp;storyID=5731Man, Rod Smith is old enough to be my Daddy. And I'm pushing 30.Problem is:1) Rod Smith is ancient2) Walker hasn't played since blowing his ACL3) Lelie sucks and seems to have an opinion of his skills that isn't in tune with reality.Realistically, they do need Lelie, but the question is how much he can help. ArmyBengal
I agree in the fact that Denver needs Lelie as well, but am not sold on his appraisal of himself. The problem is Denver wants a 1st round pick for him and no one will give that up for Lelie (who would?) and with a contract in place, Denver is in the drivers seat on this one. I see Lelie staying around or being traded for a lot less than a 1st if Denver truly wants to get rid of him...WHODEY !!!
bengalboomer7
He'll be training camp news. No one will give a first for him
Kazkal
They should keep him sense they'll need a #2 or even 1 when rod smith retires
Stripes
Why would the Broncos even bother asking for a first round pick? That's nuts.
denverbengal
I heard Shanahan on the radio this morning saying Lelie would have the opportunity to compete for the #1 wr spot, which is why he's a no-show in the first place. Guess he thinks it should just be handed to him.
ArmyBengal
Why would the Broncos even bother asking for a first round pick? That's nuts. Because they know they have a contract in place and Lelie's butt isn't going anywhere and maybe hoped that if someone needed a WR "that bad" perhaps they would cough up something big... Don't get me wrong, I can't see that happening in a million years, but you never know and like I said before, Denver is in the drivers seat...WHODEY !!!
