jditty47 Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Ben Wallace to the bulls...WOW! never saw that coming. friends a huge pistons fan...hes devastated. Lakers got Radmanovic...good signing. lakers desperately needed a shooter and adding farmar in the draft they solved both their holes...a shooter, and a backup point that can defend...hopefully.Peja Stojakovic and Bobby jackson to the hornets...B. Scott gonna have a good squad next year. claxton to the hawks...who cares.tj ford for villenueva...good for both sides i think. Quote
San Antonio Bengal Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 I'd heard the rumors that Ben was dissatisfied with Detroit and wanted to leave, but I didn't expect the Chicago deal to happen yet. This move will make it a bit easier for the Spurs to target Joel Pryzbilla. Had Chicago not landed Ben Wallace, I think they would have been the favorites to get Pryzbilla. There's really not many other centers out there who fit well with San Antonio's scheme. It's possible (and I wouldn't be suprised) to see Nazr Mohammed be re-signed, but he's had too many defensive lapses and hasn't shown a great amount of consistency.Anyway, that's what my team's after. How do the rest of you NBA fans feel about your teams and the draft/off season moves so far? Quote
semiotter Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 With the draft of LaMarcus Aldridge, and now Ben Wallace is Chicago the new "Beast in the East"? I think they will be right up there. Quote
jditty47 Posted July 5, 2006 Author Report Posted July 5, 2006 aldridge is on the blazers...they got thomas. mohammad is now a piston. whoopdeedo. hornets are trying to get chandler...hornets might be the most improved team next year...and pryzbilla is staying in portland...dunno what san antonio is going to do to improve their low post game. Smackdown625 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 I think the Cavs had a nice draft, getting Shannon Brown & Daniel Gibson. LeBron will sign the extension eventually, there's no doubt in my mind. And they'll re-sign Drew Gooden once LeBron signs the extension. I hope they can trade Zydrunas Ilgauskas for a younger C that has some potential. And I think they should sign a rookie FA Guard like Gerry McNamera, Carl Krauser, or Taquan Dean. Quote
San Antonio Bengal Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Well, it will be interesting to see what happens now in San Antonio. Duncan may be moved over to center, but then who fills in as the power forward? hmmm.... Quote
