jditty47
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2503000i think its a good move...
AMC
I think the continuity is very nice. Narron seems to have a firm hold on the team and is respected by the players.I would lock Krivsky up until 2035!Be interesting to see how he as well as upper management handles 1) the trade deadline and 2) the offseason. Stripes
Krivsky is doing a great job, I think. I think we could do better than Narron, but they know better than I.
bengalboomer7
GOOOOOOOOD Move! Especially on Krisky. I'm already interested to see if he'll make a trade deadline move, and on what moves he'll make this offseason
MacD BengalFan
I think it is a little premature to give them both an extension this early in the season. Yes, both have done a good job so far this season, but we all know just how neurotic the Reds. I think they should have waited until the end of the season to see if the team becomes more consistent. But I also understand the stability factor. It shows to the players that there is some commitment by ownership to the current manager and GM and this might translate into consistency. Hopefully. CBin2k7
I think it was good to lock up Krivsky. It may have been a little quick on Narron, but I won't pass judgement for now. Krivsky has done a very good job, in a short period of time.
semiotter
Seems like these new guys keep pushing all the right buttons....Keep up, the good work guys Krivsky is doing a great job, I think. redsfan2
These two seem to have been on the same page since Krivsky showed up. Krivsky also pairs well with Castellini. I agree with the above comments about continuity ............. and add that working together well ( read chemistry ) is a huge plus. One that was notably absent in recent years. I had doubts about Narron too, but the team seems to respond well to him. His biggest shortcoming may have been O'Brien and co.Last thing that I'm waiting to see is the follow thru on Castellinis' remark that if we're still in contention and need a player to get us over the hump .... we'll get that player. Not a dircet quote ... but words to that affect. Well ......... we're in contention ..... and I think we all know the player / position that we need. All we have to see now is ownership and team go out and get him. Any thoughts on who we could or should be looking at ???????? Bengals AND Reds both looking good ........ It just doesn't get a whole lot better than this.

It just doesn't get a whole lot better than this.as of right now they are just sitting on there hands while the bullpen continues to blow games for us . if there is a time it is now we can not wait any longer if we want to reach the playoffs . this team is on the verge of being a playoff team and just a couple guys that can hold the games or keep a leads would get us over the edge . it pisses me off that management says comments like the ones stated above , and have done absolutely nothing to fix it . it's not like it is just starting to fall apart it has been terrible all season and it has not been addressed . I hear ya. I've got knots on my head from banging it on the dam computer desk after I've read the scores of some of the ones that we " should " have won. On the other hand tho ..... the Reds had ( I think ) about the 3rd best record in the NL going into this week. It could have been better, no argument there but its been a long way away from terrible all season. They're still doing pretty good for a team that was supposed to be vying with the Pirates for last place in the division. Saying that, we Do need to make some trades to get the pitching we need. Now is the time of year that the teams will start to dump guys if they are out of contention and free them up for those that still are. We have some guys that a lot of other teams would like to have and that we could really afford to give up. What management needs to do is make sure they don't deal them to someone where they'll come back to haunt us or worse yet ......... nothing at all.Give 'em til after the break. Hopefully we'll see something beside empty promises. Happy 4th
ArmyBengal
Can't complain with continuity, but I want more production from our pitching staff (like everyone else)... Saying we want a pitching staff is like saying we want the Bengals to stop the run... I'll believe it when I see it... (Hoping for sooner rather than later)WHODEY !!!
