ArmyBengal
The Ravens hope the move creates competition at free safety with rookie Dawan Landry. They HOPE he creates competition ?? With a rookie ?? Not saying much in my opinion...WHODEY !!!
The_Next_Big_Thing
Somehow I don't see this guy as being the answer to their defensive downgrade.
ArmyBengal
Somehow I don't see this guy as being the answer to their defensive downgrade. And for that and the fact they gave up a draft pick in the process, makes me laugh !!! WHODEY !!!

And for that and the fact they gave up a draft pick in the process, makes me laugh !!! WHODEY !!!I agree it seems a little bit of a stretch, but the Ravens were high on Sapp when he was drafted two years ago. Unfortunately, he was cut when the team picked up Prime Time. Also, the Ravens did pretty well with undrafted rookie free agent will demps in the secondary. Demps wasn't a monster, but when you are sharing the backfield with CMac, Rolle, and former Defensive MVP Ed Reed, you don't have to be a monster. Stripes
I'm not sure Sapp was worthy of a draft pick in trade, but he should at least fill the role they intend for him to fill successfully.
