Stripes
I was recently arguing about this question with someone, and I am curious to hear some other opinions. I'd vote yes. I am in favor of marijuana legalization, but until that happens, it is still an illegal substance. I think deliberately breaking the law in front of one's children is indeed an irresponsible action. That's just my opinion. Whaddy'all think?
Casey
I agree. As long as it is illegal, then it would be irresponsible to do so. Personally, I don't think marijuana is any worse than alcohol, but as long as it is illegal, I would never smoke in front of my kids. Part of a parents responsiblity is setting a good example for their kids and breaking the law isn't a good example.
ArmyBengal
Irresponsible is the call as long as (as stated) it's still illegal do so to begin with. Can't see this being a huge discussion, but then again there are people that still believe the Nazi's were on to something... WHODEY !!! BigBenBlows
YES YES YES. I know there are people that do smoke it in front of their kids but it still dosen't make it right.

HairOnFire
Oddly enough the legal angle doesn't interest me much....probably because all of my adorable children are entirely hypothetical. For me the issue comes down to marijuana being an activity that shouldn't be exposed to children, by their parents, until they're of an age where they can make a responsible choice. Then, deal with it the same way you introduce your children to situations where they'll be exposed to social drinking.

Second, I wasn't aware that the avatar wasn't working. I just figured it was slow to load since it always shows up for me when I log onto the threads the following day. But I'll get my technical team right on it.
