UK Bengal
durde is an excellent LB played really well in NFL germany and UK ball but i dont see him coming off the practice squad unless we have a serious LB injury crisis.and as for the steroid thing that is a non factor as supplements in the US and UK have different ingredients and he wouldnt have been aware it contaned a banned substance in the US which is not illegal in the UK
ArmyBengal
Saying you were awesome in the NFLE is like saying you should be a MLB player because you played Wiffle Ball in your back yard when you were 6. Maybe not to THAT extent, but you get my drift... By the way, I loved Wiffle Ball !!!WHODEY !!!
UK Bengal
lets just get this right eh the guy is a british player played in the british league and got spotted for the developmental program and then played in nfl germany.if he had the benefit of going to highschool and collage in the states he would most likley be on an nfl roster right now.the fact that he played in nfl germany doesnt make him second rate it is his only chance to make an nfl roster which he has done for the second time so i hope he makes the best of it
cincy9275
Army i was reading that article and almost choked on my morning coffee . i agree with you on that . i think gentry the CFL guy will get a shot just because he is a pass rusher . i think he will mainly be a s/t's player though. the NFL tends to like guys that can get after the qb even if that is all the can do . ArmyBengal
UK Bengal, I'm not trying to bust your nuts here or anything, but the fact of the matter is he DIDN'T have the benefit of playing highschool or college ball in the States and IF he had, yes, this might be another story, but it's not. Yes, he has made an NFL roster for the second time, but in the grand scheme of things, so did Ryan Leaf...Don't get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to see this guy come on VERY STRONG and be so dominant that he is named a starter or even a backup to provide depth, but the reality of it is, more than likely, he won't. Hoping for good things !!!WHODEY !!!
UK Bengal
i wasent having a go AB it just annoys me that in general people just dont seem to rate guys who play in nfl germany but when its your only chance for a shot you have to take it.most of the players from there fail and some make it ala kitna so there are some players in there that have it so to speak, all i can say is i hope he learns some things from arguably the best D minded HC of this generation.WHODEY
