jjakq27
Just a reminder that the Bengals are holding their 10 am morning practice session at PBS on Saturday. http://bengals.com/fans/minicamp_openhouse06.asp
jjakq27
My impressions of today's mini-camp. Also, I apologize if I touch on anything that has been discussed in other individual threads today.Carson Palmer got a great ovation as did Marvin Lewis when he entered the stadium.Palmer stretched with the team and did some light tossing but was not a participant in any live action.Chad stood out in many ways. First, he was very active in today's practice and showed no signs of any problems from yesterday. He also wore orange and black compression pants as opposed to everyone elses loose black athletic shorts. He then made some great catches, especially on quick outs and comebackers on the sideline.Sam Adams is one very large person.David Pollack is always smiling.Tab Perry showed quick bursts after the catch and appears faster than last year.Reggie McNeil fielded kickoffs during the special team drills.Marvin Lewis runs a brisk, well organized practice.Chris Henry was there but did not practice with the team.Mike Martin was on the field as a special assistant.Eric Henderson is wearing number 78. That number should be retired.TJ is a lot bigger up close than he appears on TV.There was an air of confidence there today. Here are a few snap shots of today's activities. I think the new one this year is an orange t-shirt that just says "TEAM" in black letters on the back. Ironically, Chris Henry was sporting one yesterday. Here are a few more. BigBenBlows
Very nice pics. Thank you. BTW how did the back up QB's look? I know it was probably just a light practice, but I'm sure they had to throw some balls around. Just curious.

He threw several outs to Chad that were nice passes. Meyer looked OK but he didn't jump out at me in any way.
