CincyGuy
Witnesses from the scene report that Ben handled the pain like a man and did not weep like a schoolgirl (ala Chad Johnson after the playoff loss).Remember, that AFC North TV's not black and white . . . it's black and gold. Troll.Easy with the name callin there big fella, that was kinda harsh don't ya think. Thanks for adding so much to our discussion.Your welcome!!!! BengalByTheBay
Thanks , fellow Cincy fans, for showing your maturity levels.I sadly have to say that the steelers fan and Ben are the only ones showing any sort of brain activity.I think even your average Squeeler fan demonstrates a higher brain function than the genius that decided to ride a motorcycle without a helmet. You, however, exempt yourself by the charade of claiming to be a Bengal fan while teabagging the entire Squeeler nation. It's gone from quirky to sad, but I think you can achieve pathetic. Kirkendall
You guys are getting way too bent out of shape over this article. What did you want this guy to write about . . . the Pirates? He can write about the Bengals if he wants. But if he takes a snidbit of what's said here, on this site, which most of us have been here for years, and twists it around like he did to make us look bad and promote his own point he better be damned ready for us defend ourselves and correct his mistakes. That's the problem that needs fixing.
Edogger
Ha! Reading all of this is just cracking me up! Keep it up guys!On a serious note...where I live there was an accident almost identical to Big Ben's about a day later. Needless to say, the fire department that responded straight up told the guy that his face was smeared on the car's windshield. Big Ben may or may not know how lucky he really was...because the other gentleman, is no longer with us. It just disgusted me to think that Steeler fans think we were glad to hear this happened him...fact is, we were poking fun back at the fans and all the others that had wise crack remarks when Carson went down. At least Palmer did it on the field rather than breaking the law like someone else we all know.I know in the other posts I gave Big Ben my best but also made the point that when you ride without a valid motorcycle license and a helmet you sort of title yourself as an a**hat! Shall we start with all the bungles of the present that are filling up the jails, or should we talk about the most famous bungle of all the running back Stanely Wilson. While the rest of his team mates were on the field in Miami getting ready for Superbowl XXIII, Stanley Wilson decided to OD on cocaine back at the hotel room and miss the game. The beauty of this story is the Bungles only lost to the 49ers by 4 points. I imagine that the fact the Bungles had to restructure their gameplan on the fly without notice probably cost them the game. This is the difference in the Bungle fans and the Steeler fans. Bungle fans Hate the Steelers because they are awesome, win superbowls and never go entire decades without having a winning season. CT Stiller
Truth hurts, huh guys? Let's be real. Many, and by many I mean quite a few of you, made distastful remarks about the incident and made it into some kind of "karma" thing for Carson's injury. The doctor quoted in this piece is right about one thing. If you're making such comments you do have something wrong with you. What he says isn't idiotic nor far-fetched. If some 23 year old kid was riding his bike and collided with a car you'd say "poor guy". Since it's the super bowl-winning QB of the team you need to hate, it's celebration time. That's sad and pathetic if you ask me. I was here after the Palmer injury and there were a few Steelers fans making stupid comments, but when you have Bengals fans crying "cheap-shot artists! That's the only way you were going to win!" you're going to get responses of that nature.I don't expect much from the likes of Spain, but what an f-ing douchebag. Maybe karma will rear its ugly head for him.First, for the most part, everyone was wishing him well and not being asshats about it, but pointing out that he made a very poor (STUPID) decision.Second, there was no mention of the talk we had to endure and the conduct of their fans when Carson went down due to a questionable hit by one of THEIR players.Third, when it comes to Pittsburgh, it's SH*T like this that makes people make the comments that are getting the attention like this. It also compels me to utter two wonderful words in response...F*CK YOU !!! WHODEY !!!

Please explain what Stanley Wilson has to do with this article about how Bengals fans are all under 25 and wired funny? Please explain why I'm so envious that I'm not a Squeeler fan. Do you believe that every fan of every other team is also envious? Bengals fans are some of the most faithful fans in all of sports. Steeler fans care just enough about the long-term consequences of a serious accident to their QB to question what pre-season games he can start. Those are generalizations to counter yours and they are at least as true. Do you have even a single comments about the subject of this thread? If you want to talk about Chris Henry and Stanley Wilson why don't you do it where there is somebody actually talking about that subject. Riagogogoindanati
Awesome now that everyone is at attention and on the subject of past and present I will summarize what has been said between my last post and this one:Steelers history up until now = 5 Superbowls!Bungles history up until now = 0 Superbowls!Hahahaha Nice day to everyone.MUST I SCHOOL THIS ASSHAT (I LIKE THAT REFERENCE) TOO?:MUST I SCHOOL YET ANOTHER TROLL ON THEIR SQUEALER HISTORY?A RECAP FOR ALL YOU GOOD LITTLE BOYS:~1933 *HITTSBURGH PIRATES ARE THE NEW FOOTBALL TEAM IN TOWN. (AND YES THEY WERE NAMED THE PIRATES...INITIALLY.........UNTIL...........................................................~After seven losing seasons, Rooney renamed his team the Steelers in 1940.~The club registered only three winning records from 1942 to 1949. 3/7 AIN'T BAD FOR A START UP TEAM EVEN BACK THEN.~From 1950 to 1957 Pittsburgh failed to produce a winning record. NO WAY!!!~The team briefly recovered between 1958 and 1963, culminating with a 9-5 win-loss record in 1962. WOW....ONE WINNING RECORD OVER A 6 YEAR PERIOD.~Pittsburgh followed a 7-4 record in 1963 with eight consecutive losing campaigns from 1964 to 1971. YOU'RE BEGINNING TO SOUND A LOT LIKE THOSE BUNGLES YOU TALK ABOUT.~In 1972, just three years after a one-win season, head coach Chuck Noll led the Steelers to the team’s first division title ever. WOW IT TOOK YOU GUYS HOW MANY YEARS TO GET A DIVISION TITLE? 39?~The crown marked the beginning of a dynasty that won seven Central Division championships (including six consecutively) and four Super Bowls from 1972 to 1980. YOU WERE GREAT.....I WON'T DISPUTE THAT.~Pittsburgh rolled through the playoffs in both 1974 and 1975 and won the Super Bowls that followed both seasons, holding the Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys to a combined 23 points in the two games. AWESOME~Three years later the Steelers again reached the Super Bowl. They defeated the Cowboys 35-31 in what is considered one of the most thrilling championships in NFL history. Bradshaw threw four touchdown passes, and the Steelers led the game 35-17 with just under seven minutes left to play. Dallas quarterback Roger Staubach led his team to two more touchdowns before Pittsburgh recovered a Dallas onside kick and won the game. SO YOU FOUND A WAY TO WIN THAT ONE....THAT'S WHAT GOOD TEAMS DO.~Pittsburgh earned its fourth title in 1980, defeating the Los Angeles Rams 31-19.~ Noll collected two more division titles in the following 12 seasons, but under him the Steelers did not return to the Super Bowl. 2 TITLES IN 12 YEARS?~Cowher led Pittsburgh to three straight division crowns from 1994 to 1996. ~Following the 1995 season the Steelers again played in the Super Bowl, but they lost to the Cowboys 27-17.~Running back Jerome Bettis led the team in the 1996 season as Pittsburgh clinched the AFC Central Division and beat the Indianapolis Colts 42-14 in the playoffs before losing to the New England Patriots, 28-3.WOW......9 YEARS SINCE.HMMMM................AND THE SQUEALERS ARE SO GREAT NOW BECAUSE?I AM SURE YOU WILL SAY THAT ALL OF YOUR NEGATORIES ARE FROM YEARS AND YEARS AGO.........BUT, SEEING HOW THE SQUEALERS FRANCHISE IS ALMOST TWICE AS OLD AS THE BENGALS.....NICE TRY.
