Hey everyone, about the time I think they going in the tank. They come back on the road in the Division and sweep the Stros and then start off on the right track in St. Louie. Is this team for real or what??I hope so because it would be nice for a change to have something to cheer during the summer for a change. Go REDS keep up to fine job....... :sure:

hopefully we'll be fighting for the wildcard all year...i think the cards wont falter even without puljols. but ya, i agree...we play great some days, and terrible others...not a sign of a playoff team.

We added one more worthy pitcher in the offseason (Arroyo) and I think that will warrant a little extra time to enjoy Reds games. Rather than running out of gas in early June, we'll run out of gas in early July, or something similar.

If we do make the playoffs somehow, we'd have to have the worst playoff pitching staff in a decade.

Why have the Reds played so much better on the road as of yet? We sucked on the road last year, and our winning at home is the only thing that kept us afloat with 70+ wins. Now it's backwards.

I think that some of that may be because the Great American Ball Park is suck a hitters park and especially the deep ball. Couple that with our pitchers having the uncanny ability to give up more than their fair share of homers and I think we may be onto something. I do however, think this can and will change as the pitching staff improves or (gulp) worsens, but that is just an idea...

Well, the Reds pulled another one out their asspiece last night after Hammond f*cked up another good start... I'll take the win, especially over the Mets at this point, but our relievers blow monkey balls !!!

Good game, though. I know Billy Wagner isn't what he used to be, but with the Astros lurking and getting Clemens back, the Nl wildcard has really tightened up.(Yes, I know it's too ealry to be talking about the wildcard)

I think the Reds will be up and down the rest of the season. The new owners did promise that they would go out and get the people the Reds need if they were still in contention at the All-Star Break (which they will be). So I'm hoping they go get Zito or D-Train and say goodbye to Larue and/or Dunn.

P.S. Brandon Phillips and David Ross were amazing pickups by Wayne Krivsky.
