Griffey is the man. Watching him foul off pitches in the 9th, you could tell he was going to get those runs in somehow.

I think Griffey will make it through the season relatively unscathed. I hope I'm not jinxing him by saying that, but he already had his time off this year.

It's amazing that after losing a full month of playing time, he's right up there with the team leaders in RBI, batting average, and homers.

Griffey is obviously still the best hitter on this team. It's the love/hate relationship we have with Griff. When he is out there we love him, but then he gets hurt and he is hated.

Just saw that the last eight games, Griff is about 16-34 with eight RBI's. Gettin it done on a nightly basis

Griff has a minor injury, currently he says that he is day to day or we'll see on his status. he may not play again tonight against Cubbies.

It probably isn't anything to worry about.

sit him for the entire series. if we cant take 3 of 4 from the woeful cubs without him thats a true sign that the playoffs are far from reach.

Once again, I love Griffey and the fact he's on our team. Yes, he's injured alot and yes, he takes up a huge chunk of cash, but I just love having the guy on our team !!! Since he's been bringing the lineup out every night, the Reds haven't lost. Even though he wasn't playing last night, he took the lineup out... Superstitions are alive and well !!!
