Edogger
I think Pollack stands the best chance...especially if R. Lewis can't stay healthy. And my other pick would be Tab Perry for special teams. I also think Sam Adams has chance to do some damage in the middle.
turningpoint
There's only one way Houshmandzadeh makes the Pro Bowl, and that's if Chad Johnson goes down for the season. TJ's a no. 2 WR, and on a team with a Pro Bowl no. 1 WR and a 1400 yard RB, he'll only get so many catches and yards. He can't put up the kind of numbers he would need to beat out all of the no. 1 WRs in the AFC.TJ puts up great numbers, and he's getting a lot more attention lately. I don't see him beating out Harrison, but Chris Chambers? Maybe. Rod Smith? Easily. Eddie Kennison? Easily. Reggie Wayne? Maybe. And he's a number two guy too.LOl but people like Moss and andre johnson had off years...he has to beat them also.
Kazkal
+ beat out hines (though hes not a numbers guy hes still had a few trips himself....+ theres reggie wayne....like someone else said no way bengals have 2 WR's in probowl TJ's best chance is CJ goes down or he out produces him
HairOnFire
I'll bet a Bengalzone dollar that the newest Bengal ProBowler will be Madieu Williams.
jditty47
ya my vote would just be m. williams or s. adams. i bet even if tj outperformed cj, he still wouldnt get into the probowl...chad would STILL have more votes than him.
futurebengal08
give it to madieu, as long as he actually catches some love in a division overshadowed by Ed Reed and Polamalu. I'd also like to state that Madieu's ROOK numbers were comparable if not better than any Polamalu season. Granted, Polamalu plays every position on the field, and won a Super Bowl*. But madieu can't be ignored for very long. After that, I'd say Levi Jones. I don't see how he could've been overlooked this year, after the indy game. TJ won't make it, here or anywhere else. He has about the same chance as Brandon Stokley had last year. There's just not enough balls to go around.

derekshank
Madieu's rookie numbersMadieuPolamalu's careerPolamalu's statsPretty impressive, no doubt. However, when your safety makes over 100 tackles it is never a good sign. I would gladly have Madieu's numbers look more like Polamalu's next year, because that would mean our D-line and LB's are doing their jobs. Spor_tees
A safeties stats can be decieving depending on the type of defense he plays in. In a defense where the Safety plays a lot in the box like a 4th or 5th LB, his tackles and sacks are going to be a lot higher than a safety who plays on a coventional defense where he plys more of a DB role. The Bengals defense seems to take advantage of the extra man in the box blitzing safeties and CB's a lot. This will only become even more effective with the addition of a clog in the middle like Sam Adams where he takes up 2 blockers.
