When I wear t-shirts, sweaters, etc, I like them to be a bit baggy, but not huge. I usually wear a large or an XL, depending on the garment. That said, I recently purchased an authentic Chad Johnson jersey - size 52, which I had been told was the jersey equivalent to an XL. It's a bit baggy around the waist and chest, but I could deal with it. However, the sleeves are very large (they obviously would be for the shoulder pads) and it comes down to about mid-thigh. It's huge! Seriously, if I were a chick I could wear this thing as a dress.

My question is, should I exchange it for a size 50 (L)? Is it going to be any shorter at all? There is no effing way I'm tucking a jersey into my pants.

Ha! It's not a question of girth...it's the fact that I'm 5'11 and it's made for someone who's about 6'4. Unless I hit a late-twenties growth spurt, I'm SOL. :)

I think you should just wear it tucked! Start the new yuppie trend! Unless you get the thing altered (Which may do more damage than good) I think you are SOL. But it is worth a shot if you are going to worry about being seen in a dress!
