BTG
When I wear t-shirts, sweaters, etc, I like them to be a bit baggy, but not huge. I usually wear a large or an XL, depending on the garment. That said, I recently purchased an authentic Chad Johnson jersey - size 52, which I had been told was the jersey equivalent to an XL. It's a bit baggy around the waist and chest, but I could deal with it. However, the sleeves are very large (they obviously would be for the shoulder pads) and it comes down to about mid-thigh. It's huge! Seriously, if I were a chick I could wear this thing as a dress. My question is, should I exchange it for a size 50 (L)? Is it going to be any shorter at all? There is no effing way I'm tucking a jersey into my pants.
Stripes
Don't change the size of the jersey to fit the BTG, but change the size of the BTG to fit the jersey!I reccommend Big Macs.
BTG
Ha! It's not a question of girth...it's the fact that I'm 5'11 and it's made for someone who's about 6'4. Unless I hit a late-twenties growth spurt, I'm SOL.
BigBenBlows
If it is officially game cut then any size that you get will be long in the waist. Also if you want to give the size 52 jersey to me I will take it.
Edogger
I think you should just wear it tucked! Start the new yuppie trend! Unless you get the thing altered (Which may do more damage than good) I think you are SOL. But it is worth a shot if you are going to worry about being seen in a dress!
