ChadJohnson-85
OROY: Addai in Indy. How can you not succeed big stepping into an offense where you're needed and failure to cover the pass leads to a touchdown!DROY: Domata Peko. After spurning Odell last year, when Cincy goes to the Super Bowl this year, Peko is a big part of it.I believe Peko will be a BIG part of our defense this year and help take us to the Super Bowl! redsbengalsbucks
OROY Young, because the media will continue to blow smoke up his ass for the entire season unless he is horrible. Just look at what they did with Vick coming out of college, he was suppose to be the best QB ever.DROY Jackson, he looks to be very good and he will get a lot of tackles in the AFCN, just like Odell

Only a homer Browns fan would think a Bengal draft pick isn't a lock for Rookie of the Year! Yes, he is indeed our 4th round pick. However, with the talent he has around him, he will look like a part of the reason our defense improves. We'll finally get attention. Peko will be freed up by double teams against Big Sam and Justin Smith. He'll get his sacks. Sure, he won't be entirely responsible for his numbers, but he'll get the fan votes BECAUSE he's a 4th rounder and having a good season. It's actually easier for a non first rounder to get ROY because less is expected of them. And yeah, I'm being a homer here
schweinhart
Hawk and Vernon Davis. Both should dominate.Elsewise Super Mario and Chad Jackson.

While it's not likely that he will be the winner, there's always a chance, it could be somewhat like when Anthony Henry had 10+ interceptions for us and he was a fourth round pick (Sadley he didn't win it that year). Who?
AJ Hawk for D and Santonio Holmes for OSo really you're saying that he's going to catch more balls than Hines Ward his rookie year? I don't think that's going to happen.Chad Jackson will have a better year then Santonio Holmes in my opinion, but neither of them will win ROY. cincy9275
to me this award is a popularity contest because o'dell and madieu both were the best rookies in there rookie season and both got shafted so this award is nothing because the players who deserve it don't win it

Certain statistics seem to carry too much weight in the decision though, like sacks.

unbaised_steelerfan
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------There is no excuse for grabbing a player's facemask and bouncing his head into the ground while he is flat on his back. Regardless of the duration, that is a dirty play by any standard and I was wondering if it even so much as drew a flag from the officials.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------But since you mentioned it ...As derogatory & disrespectful as it is to the Bengals, in all truth it is even more derogatory toward that scumbag-team itself, who has to rely on such cowardly acts, in order to try to maintain their own bulls**t-self-proclaimed-image of being more physical than anyone else, and toward the NFL as a League, for letting then get away with their cowardly acts time and time again just because they are "The Steelers".-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------That is not just Football ...It is yet another example of a team that makes it's living and trys to establish it's reputation with cheap-shots and with petty little bulls**t after the play.Of a team that will repeatedly kick/knee a player who is down and trying to get up after a play, and then run and hide behind the ref when that player does get up.Of a team who's coach lobbies the officials, with the notion that they have to allow his team to be "physical", and who crys like a little girl if they ever do dare to flag his players (like they SHOULD) for the dirty little bulls**t and cheap-shots that they do.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------That is the action of a p***y ...Only Steelers fans could think that it speaks well of their team and only a moron would believe that they really are somehow more physical than everybody else in the NFL.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sorry if I piss anybody off ...That is not really my intention, I am just sick and tired of the Steelers playing the game as dirty as possible and then being dumb enough to actually be proud of it.I have lost all respect for them ...They dont play dirty. They play the same as the 31 teams. People keep saying the are more physical than other teams but i dont see how the play any different. and i still dont know what smash mouth football is.
