Stripes
Well at least he waited for me to give the Jags mad props in my playoff seeding thread.
ArmyBengal
Yep, this doesn't help the Jags one bit seeing as how they failed to address the WR position in the draft !!!WHODEY !!!
Stripes
Yep, this doesn't help the Jags one bit seeing as how they failed to address the WR position in the draft !!!WHODEY !!!I do think Matt Jones will be a very good player for them. He was the athletic freak of round one last year a la Vernon Davis. He flashed some great hands in limited action, and I think he could be a number one receiver for them. If Reggie Williams ever starts playing to his first round potential, they should be alright. That's a big if though.

Stripes
The Jags are looking to me a lot like the Eagles teams that went to all those NFC Championships... Obviously Byron Leftwich doesn't have much in common with Donovan McNabb, but the teams are similar in a broader sense. They have a below average receiving corps (at least on paper), an excellent corps of running backs, and one of the best defenses in the league. El Tigere
How about trading Kelly Washington to Jacksonville for a 3rd draft pick in next years draft.
Stripes
How about trading Kelly Washington to Jacksonville for a 3rd draft pick in next years draft. Lord, everybody wants to trade Kdub. I'd take that deal in a heartbeat, but I don't think there's anyway we'd get a third from any team for him. We'd be better suited to let him play out his contract and go for a compensatory pick next offseason if someone tries to snag him up (even though nobody did this offseason). Brown 6-1J. Gaffney 6-1G. Lewis 6-0The only WR Philly has 6-4 or taller is Hank Baskett...and who knows when he will play.So I don't know if I would compare the two teams with the WR. Jags have the upper hand on this. The other comparisons I would definitely agree with.

He could be a red zone phenom this season. In all honestly, I just wanted to post something with that quote and this gave me the chance to do so.
