Larry Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Could have been here for him....but he chose the grass on the other side of the tracks....Now he is crying....When Spikes returns, it will be to a revamped unit, minus veteran safety Lawyer Milloy and tackle Sam Adams, who were both released in March, and restocked with several free agents and six rookies selected in last weekend's NFL draft."I'm frustrated. I just want to win, man, and that's what it boils down to," Spikes said, when asked about the changes. "Hopefully, we get everything together. ... I ain't getting no younger." Quote
Kazkal Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 . I ain't getting no younger."well atleast he isen't that stupid Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Talk about not being able to see the big picture I don't feel sorry for multimillion dollar athletes Quote
MacD BengalFan Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 He has no one to blame but himself. He wanted to be on a winner so bad, he felt the Bengals was not the way and decided that Buffalo was. Now, the Bengals stand a better chance of getting to the Super Bowl (pending Carson's knee, of course) and the Bills are lucky to win 6 games.Feel no sympathy for him. If he had stuck it out, he would be enjoying the prospects of the coming season instead of whinning about wanting to win. What a !!! Quote
GapControl Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Takeo would be a household name now... not wasting away in Buffalo. I bet everyone one on this forum would have jumped to Buffalo from the Bengals during that period. Who could argue for staying at that time? Quote
ArmyBengal Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 Spikes leaving pissed me off, but O'dell is going to huge in his own right !!!I will say though that I would have rather seen Dillon in his spot as opposed to him !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
